This is a dual perspective book and to begin with, I found the narration of the Cassidy too much - I get that the actor was acting the part and trying to get over the emotion and feeling of it all but it just annoyed me.
Having said that, the storyline was fun albeit rushed at the end - the specific story comes to a conclusion but there are a few unanswered questions which I am guessing will be covered in the other books, but it was all a bit - OH OK we're finished ..
I will continue the series as I like the dynamics of the groups and a good ghost hunt is always fun!2 people found this helpful
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Really enjoyable multiple framed storylines (I love stories with a haunted historical aspect to them) that also includes a character who possesses a unique gift. I’ve read hundreds of supernatural stories, but the gift of this character is intriguing and quite different than what is in most stories! I give it a 4 due to the lack of detail, esp at end. The author really had me interested in this place and the history of it but everything felt resolved too quickly and easily (or was even left out). The author gives a sense of closure for the main storyline, but not for all of them and not enough for those of us that get immersed in our reading and hang on to details. Maybe the second book will fill in the missing pieces! Either way, I can’t stop now! I’m hooked on this character’s “second sight” and want to see her story continue!

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good Narrators, Especially The Male!!!
He Had Me Cracking Up Laughing At The Beginning Of The Story...
Wish The Story Could've Been Longer, & Scarier... LOL!!!1 person found this helpful
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Having grown up on Kali Oka Road, and only 5 minutes from cry baby bridge, and the oak grove plantation, I found this very interesting. I spent many nights going through the forest around the plantation, and seeing the cemetery and church steps. The author definitely grasped the ambiance of oak grove. Some, who aren't very familiar with area, may find the book a bit boring.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It was good. I liked it. But the ending of every chapter was cut off abruptly.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This is a poor copy. the ends of the chapters cut off. The book is ok.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5awsome Cassidy kind slow on understanding what's going on.but loved it

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Stopped at chapter 5, sounds like something written by a 15 year old.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is just like the first story but with the different continuation and instances that is leading to a concluding findings. I did find it entertaining and helps to occupant my mind today.
