About this audiobook
This program is read by the author.
A revealing, dramatic, deeply personal audiobook about the most significant events of our time, by the former United States Ambassador to the United Nations.
Nikki Haley is widely admired for her forthright manner (“With all due respect, I don’t get confused”), her sensitive approach to tragic events, and her confident representation of America’s interests as our Ambassador to the United Nations during times of crisis and consequence.
In this audiobook, Haley offers a first-hand perspective on major national and international matters, as well as a behind-the-scenes account of her tenure in the Trump administration.
This audiobook reveals a woman who can hold her own—and better—in domestic and international power politics, a diplomat who is unafraid to take a principled stand even when it is unpopular, and a leader who seeks to bring Americans together in divisive times.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Shes hot and smart! Worth listening and great pointers ! Shes a real patriot.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is a straight talking book as Ambassador Haley talks about her life in politics, the corruption in governments throughout the world.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I learned a lot about her roles and enjoyed the candor with which she shared about her experiences. I also very much appreciate her patriotism and feel many could benefit from her approach to moving forward with those that don’t agree with you. The girl power was strong too....I’m glad she did her own narration and it came across in the respectful way she meant it.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great book was very happy she was out ambassador to the UN.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Thank you, Mrs. Haley, for the chance to get to know you.
I feel as if you are one of my peeps now.
I hope to be hearing more about Team a Haley as 2024 approaches ?? - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Excellent audio book and provided great insights on the complexities that America faces on international stage now and going forward. It is refreshing to hear directly from Nikki Haley in her own words the complexities she faced as governor and her time at the UN security counsel. She shared in this book a love on country, and her mother and father decision to come to this country ss legal immigrants to have a better life for their family. She shared with her the challenges facing her as a child and a woman. This is a great book to understand what important things the Trump administration is trying to achieve in the world. Strong America leadership to save democracy vs socialist dictatorships and oppression. She shared first hand honest accounts of her relationship with Trump, administration and always approached with honesty good or bad. Refreshing to get first hand accounts instead of untrue reporting. She shared first hand accounts of her trips to far off oppressed countries, dealings with some of the complex dictators and staff members. It is evident that outside influence is trying to decay our democracy, and has been infiltrating from within our government. We finally have a group of leaders who are outsiders that are exposing these government nsiders and dictators who are working to destroy our democracy and constitution!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5In a world where the brown female voice is supposedly still sorely under-represented, Nikki Haley, without whitewashing anything, deftly leapfrogs victimhood to talk about everything else instead. Choosing to highlight and employ the best of America's character in herself, she tells what she knows without speculating a lot on what she doesn't, providing details without dirt and insights without sensationalism. Haley's combination of grace, candor, and loyalty is a rare combination that I suspect will keep her from being out of the spotlight for long. I think we'll be seeing a lot more of Haley a few years from now.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It is us, the American people who are blessed by your service, the values you protected and the courage to stand up to and call out the bullies around the world. I am grateful to hear the truth and see inside your heart, for it is a kind, generous, brave and loving heart! I can only hope and pray Gods plans for you include becoming our 46! I thank you deeply for sharing yourself with America!♥️
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I really enjoyed learning more about Governor Haley and her upbringing and her perspective. At the same time I found many of her arguments overly simplistic, one-sided, and at times contradictory (e.g., explaining why the UN moved away from “long held traditions” and then blaming the Obama administration for the same “long-held traditions”; clearly our temporal definitions differ).
She spends a lot of time referencing being “brown”, growing up different, and how that shaped her world views. Please, find me one picture where this woman could be considered “brown”. Her and Warren should form a club. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Very inspiring for Americans in general, and especially to women who feel called to lead
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Very well written.....provides a good perspective into Nikki's political views as well as a closer look into her life to this point. I was a fan of Nikki Haley before this book, but am a much bigger fan now. I hope that she continues to serve in government.....and hope that she is our first woman President in the U.S......I believe that she will be a great one.
