So, when Ben brings home his mysterious beautiful new wife, Daisy, immediately Annie doesn’t trust her. Who is this woman who has taken her son away from her? And what is she hiding?
She’ll protect him with her life…

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Who is Grace? I figured it out but why did I have too. I didn't like or care about the characters. The pivotal character Daisy is nausiatingly dumb, seriously dumb. Listening to the book was equivalent to listening to a relative talk about her life of drama. You hear the words but sit falling asleep.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Well…. That was unexpected.
Great book and definitely will recommend to my friends - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I really enjoyed this book. It was a great story and always kept you wanted to hear just a bit more. I couldn’t put it down till the end. I read it stray through. It’s hard to find a book with a story line that hasn’t been told before whit this one was different and I loved it. If your looking for a story that hasn’t been told before this is it, I know you will enjoy it.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Was this supposed to be suspenseful? Not very well written.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great listen! I almost passed it up because of previous reviews. I’m so glad I decided to proceed to listen!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Pretty good, a lot better than I was expecting after reading a number of negative reviews. Kept my interest throughout and kept me guessing as well as to what was really going on. Granted it is a little far fetched, but I think books like this need to be taken with a grain of salt and suspension of reality, to sit back and allow yourself to just be entertained!! Worth a listen...☺️
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It was surprising and I didn’t see this end coming .. totally loved it !
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Love it. Love the ode to Stephen King’s Misery. Great thriller.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A great book with a twist. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to it.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Wow. I really didn’t like this book. The lead characters were off the rails and I didn’t buy any of it. I finished it in the hopes it would somehow redeem itself. Alas, it did not.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5One I would recommend, but I saw myself predicting what would happen. Still has a very interesting storyline.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It was well written but rather long-it also started off a bit slow. The twist was great and the narrators did a wonderful job.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5the story was way too drawn out.
Story did not get intetesting until the last 4 chapters and this book was lllllllong! - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Not too badly written, but much too self indulgent in description. BUT the most damning omission: why did Ben leave Daisy if it wasn’t because of her past?
Glaring mistake!!!! - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Started out slow but turned into a twist thriller. Liked the narrators.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Riveting and a page turner. A little rushed at the end.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A big twist at the end! Good character development. Enjoyed it.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Very disconnected plot. Was difficult follow. I did finish listening, but was a disappointing ending.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Didn’t want to stop listening to find out what would happen.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The narrator was amazing ! Really enjoyed listening to this audiobook
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Should the title be Mother In law? The story revolves around her.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5This is a formulaic and predictable book that I literally figured out within the first several minutes. If you’re a fan of mind numbing Lifetime movies you might enjoy this, although you’ve read or seen it many times before. If you like a book that makes you think and truly engrosses you, this is not for you.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Sorry I couldn't finish reading this book. I did keep trying, but it was slow
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The story was formulaic. I knew the outcome after listening to a few chapters. Too many unanswered questions. What happened to Mike? Alice? Rory? What was the favor Jenny had asked of Grace? Who was on the news that made Annie anxious? How had the blunt force trauma occurred to Eve? What happened to Daisy’s parents? Daisy was not the most likable character. Ben lacked development. I wish there had been more time with Eve and Patrick - THEY were interesting.
