      I like the book itself, but the narration is distracting! There are two narrators, a male and female, but when the chapter is from the FMC pov, the female narrator does the male dialogue, and vice versa for the MMC pov chapters. I like the narrator’s voices when they’re doing their main character, but they (especially the female narrator) are HORRIBLE at the opposite sex dialogue!! It really takes from the experience…

      City is the partner every human needs in their life. Loved this book!!

      The protagonist’s dialog is a bit cringe. She also calls the male protagonist’s past lovers “hussies”. Like girl, you’ve never even met them. That’s something I’d expect a grandmother to say. I let my subscription to scribd end before finishing because it wasn’t engrossing in general.

      Suzy never expected to find herself in a situation where she needed a tattooed MC to help her out of a sticky situation and City never expected to fall for a prim and proper teacher.

      Their story hits all the boxes when it comes to steam and spice, Chelle really knows how to bring fantasies to life and City helped Suzy make them fantasies a reality. City brought Suzy out of her skin and made her find her own personality out of what she was brought up in. I loved their dynamic even if City could be overbearing at times with his alphaholeness.

      They have their ups and downs but in the background, there's always the constant of City's Italian heritage family and they all know how to bring humour to any situation while knocking City back into reality.
