About this audiobook

Friends?

Lovers?

Both?

For Kora and Tariq, those lines have been blurred for a long time. Every time clarity seems to be within reach, something shifts, and in a single moment, focus is lost. Once again, they're in limbo. Between them, there is only one secret, with the power to permanently alter their relationship. For good or bad, neither of them knows-nor are they willing to take that risk.

Through the pain of past tragedies and the pressure of current dramas, they always find solace in each other's arms. Inescapably connected by the interminable bond of friendship, Tariq and Kora navigate family, life, and love, searching for separate answers to a problem that has only has one, unavoidable solution.

I'm going to preface this review by saying, Kora and Tariq are the reason husbands, wives, girlfriends, and boyfriends NEVER trust so called "BFFs" of the opposite sex. With that being said, I have to say, Inevitable Conclusions started out kind of slow for me. Even with it opening with a sex scene. But, as the book progressed, it really started to pick up. I'm a sucker for friendship turned lovers so, while I loved Tariq and Kora as a couple, they worked my last nerve! They spent so much time worrying about why they shouldn't be in a relationship when, whether they knew it or not, they had already been in one for 30 years! ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️ It seemed like everyone but them knew they loved each other and should be together. I'm just glad it didn't take most of the book for them to finally find some common sense and come to that realization. This romance was swoon worthy and real. You honestly can’t go wrong with a Christina C. Jones book. I am definitely her new number one fan!

I honestly found Tariq and Kora's relationship/friendship unreal. Like how do you keep each other's clothes in your homes and yet yal are not together?! Nah that part annoyed me really. The book was great though and the storyline was intriguing but a few parts were unreal. I know it's fiction, I'm fully aware of that but I need to feel like this is something that can happen in real life.
