      I just can’t get on board with this story. Essentially the mother set her up to be drunk and date raped/ mated by the “hero” alpha. Everyone acts like she’s crazy or ridiculous for being mad that he took advantage of her. He justifies marking her while she was drunk and dreaming because they “love each other.” News flash jack ass - if you love her, you woo her. You DO NOT crawl up in her bed while she’s drunk and “mark” her without her SOBER consent. How can anyone read this and think it’s romantic?!?!

      If you want to write rape erotica, have at it. Just don’t write sexual assault and call it love / romance.

      Good story, well written the sexy scenes were great, I liked that the heroine was a strong character and kicked ass. Wasn’t sure that the brother needed to give over to his animal side and kill his partner’s ex. I think that he could have been scared off and that would have been enough. Which is why I didn’t rate this book higher.
