About this audiobook

The gods are gone. Her brother is missing. One retired assassin must confront her past to save his future…

Immortal Kat Dubois has traded in her sword for a flask. Hard drinking helps ease the grisly memories of her former trade: an assassin of immortals. She’s perfectly content to spend eternity in her Seattle tattoo parlor…until the mysterious disappearance of her brother finally brings her out of retirement.

With a charmed deck of tarot cards and her trusty sword, Kat sets off to track down her brother and save his soul. A wicked corporation and a laundry list of old rivals stand in the way of her quest. For someone with an eternity to live, Kat's chances of unraveling the mystery become less likely with each passing second…

Ink Witch is the first book in a tough-girl urban fantasy series set in Seattle, WA. If you like intense action, gritty characters, unconventional magic, and Egyptian mythology, then you'll love this unique, fast-paced adventure.

Lindsey Fairleigh

Lindsey Fairleigh lives her life with one foot in a book—as long as that book transports her to a magical world or bends the rules of science. Her novels, from post-apocalyptic to time travel and historical fantasy, always offer up a hearty dose of unreality, along with plenty of adventure and romance. When she’s not working on her next novel, Lindsey spends her time reading and trying out new recipes in the kitchen. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her two confused cats.

Overly unlikeable MC. An angsty 38yr old in an 18yr old's body? Flipping off people and swearing isn't a personality trait. Cool premise though

I love this series. The narrator is perfect for the mood of the books. I would suggest going back to read the Echo Trilogy before diving in, though. There is a lot of background story to the characters and events in the Kat Dubois series.

Loved it. Great story and world building. It doesn't end on a cliff hanger, but leaves you wanting more. Something is coming. I don't like to spoil, so I will just be vague. The main characters are likeable. They are "dirty" and violent when necessary. Not recommended for anyone under 17.

I found it quite refreshing, is a type of magical world that is not trite and explained quite well.
I loved the idea of the tattoos. Thanks

A little hard to follow if you don’t know the back story.

However I did enjoy it and the actress did a good job distinguishing the characters.

This is a fascinating and lovely story following on from a previous trilogy I enjoyed it just as much!

Great start to Kat's story. But FYI, you need to start with the Echo Trilogy! You'll like this book way more if you do.

This is a beautifully designed world with characters I wanted to cheer for.
