- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I love how the past and present are so intertwined so masterfully in this story. Realistic issues in the past and the present. It was so relatable. I also learned new facts about WW2 and the resistance that I’d never known before. This is a great read for fans of historical fiction.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A wonderfully written Novel That keeps you on the edge of your seat and also pulling at your heartstrings. I would likely read it again!

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5What a GREAT story. It truely is very inspiring!! Thank you for sharing the story to the world. It was sad and happy, both but very well written. Thank you for all the work you put into this book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A wonderful story told with clean language. Thank you for not filling the pages with foul language.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great story, love the pace and switching from WW2 to present day.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Beautifully written, obviously, intensely researched. Eye opening twist on Jews being forced into being part of Hitler’s regime in Paris. These Jews, for the most part helping French resistance, risking their lives to do so. Great story!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Gratuitous evangelizing even though it added nothing to the plot. If the author wants to push her religion, she should write a book about that and not hide it in a book about world war I. I found it very annoying. Unfortunately it is not mentioned in the description of the book. Otherwise, the story is a good one, ignoring the rather awkward romantic scenes.
