The storyline is delightful (5 stars)-and Connor Crais is fabulous! (Also 5 stars) The female narrator should narrate comedies and stay away from Romance books!! She sounds like Jennifer Coolidge on Legally Blonde. “It makes me want a hot dog REAL BAD!” The story was great and a 2nd couple to a series of 3-or I would have just stopped!! I tried to pass her parts and go to The male narrator, but I missed way too much of the story. Ugh

Such a great series…this is book two, so be sure to read this after Perfect Love Story. Each story is set concurrently, with a different set of H and h. This style really enhances the overall understanding of the H and h’s characters and their love story! Wonderful narration!!!

The author chose to write this novel in first person, present tense format. I happen to find that stream of consciousness style annoying, no matter how intriguing the premise of the tale.

In addition, the style of narration made the protagonist sound like a whiny ninny.

I lasted for most of one chapter before I decided to choose another audiobook.

Book 2 The blurb describes it . I liked the story! Voice actor Chris Connor gave both the H and h a better-sounding voice than the female narrator did. He should have narrated the book alone
