About this audiobook
The William Lynch letter is an address delivered by a certain William Lynch to an audience on the bank of the James River in Virginia in 1712 regarding control of slaves within the colony and across the South. The letter purports to be a verbatim account of a speech given by a slave owner, in which he tells other slave masters that he has discovered the "secret" to controlling black slaves by setting them against one another.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Smh…. Curses brought upon us is now over. We broke the wicked spell. Payday quotes
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5One star because the description completely fails to note that the letter is a 20th century forgery that first appeared in 1970.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Thank you for this information, as someone who is on a search to learn as much as I can, this was a good quick listen.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This book is a hoax but Amazon sells it as if it is history. This book has been debunked by historians. The English for the time period is incorrect. I don't have a problem with the book being on sale there are plenty of racist and derogatory books on the market. I have a problem with this book being labeled as history. It is dishonest and misleading. Book stores should know better
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Written by a savage. Not writing it would have made it better.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5WOW!! I'm in complete
disbelief of what I have just heard. Weirdly, this has opened my mind. I'm shocked! But it is crazy; the Wilie Lynch speech is regarded as a hoax!! - Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I couldn’t finish listening to this trash with all the the n-words it’s like the reader throughly enjoyed being able to use the word over and over.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Those who say there has always been slavery need to listen. This provides clear understanding of how evil European American chattel slavery really was. Hearing it read out loud has a greater impact than reading. It was very hard to give it stars because the content is so shocking.
