About this audiobook
Secrets can be powerful…
…but also destructive.
Alrion doesn't know the power inside him. He's more surprised than anyone when he discovers he's a wizard.
Why is his power unique?
Learning the ways of a wizard is not enough. Alrion is charged with a quest to cleanse the Blight. He's the world's last chance to be free of that malevolent force, and the twisted creatures that it creates.
Three trials await the young wizard. He must conquer each of the pillars of magic: Knowledge, Will, and Spark. Only then will he be ready to face his destiny.
But the forces of darkness are not sitting idle. They will stop at nothing to halt Alrion's quest and claim him for their own.
Can he grow as a wizard and navigate his way through the trials? Or will he be consumed by the darkness he's so desperately struggling against.
You'll love this epic adventure because of the action, intrigue, and the one lingering question:
Who is the Hidden Wizard?

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I didn’t like the writers style. The book is jumpy as there is a lot of details that get left out. The dialogue is rather corny in many places.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Book seems okay but the narrator needs to -slow down- and take a breath..... There's just no pauses or emphasis on anything.
Entire paragraphs are read out with no change in tone or pace. The only break you get in when he stops in between chapters.... Exhausting to listen to.
Edit: Listened for another hour, it gets worse. The narrator seems to be reading like he's trying to get through the narration as soon as possible. There's no gravitas given to serious moments, no pauses for effect, no change in tone depending on who's speaking. Just one continuous, unending, unerring, eerily consistent stream of speech.
Move on y'all. It ain't worth the time. Go read it yourself.
