WOW! How incredibly captivating from the get go! You felt every second of the journey Celeste takes .. the good, the bad, the ugly, and the comeback. (to quote many an author) By the end of the story … I released a breathe I didn’t even realize I had been holding. Again, LB brings you into her world and you find yourself never wanting to leave.

Decent. I liked the happy ending. Good and twist but the end made me smile.

The story plot was an insult to my intelligence. Do not waste your time. Plot assumes women are stupid.

Loved it! Definitely would recommend. Read most of her books and loved them all but 'The perfect child' didn't end with a conclusion to it. Hopefully there will be a sequel

This was not a very good book. I did not think it was that suspenseful or surprising or even that interesting. Especially the ending

Good book with a captivating story, I felt it ended a bit abruptly or maybe I just didn’t like the ending. Narrator did a great job!

Missing Parts by Lucinda Berry was different but good! I realised that I am concentrating on the twists so much that I forgot how much I can enjoy the book without the twist! This was so real, so emotional, so great book! And again - best reminder, all the misunderstandings happen because PEOPLE DON'T LISTEN! How much I hate when people ask a question but not letting you give an answer! This is one of the things that irritate me on daily bases so there were many parts where I got angry from frustration!
The main character Celeste thought she had a perfect life, or at least as perfect as possible. Some actions it's hard to understand as we don't know all story and we question things but once we get all the answers, everything makes sense!
Celeste's life takes crazy turns once her daughter gets ill. Nothing will be as it was before! Celeste must take the stuffiest decisions in her life.
    Some parts are so heartbreaking!
    Definitely, definitely recommend this book!

After having read Berry's "The Perfect Child'' and giving it a full 5 star review....this one was just a big let down.

It started out exciting, and tense for the first quarter of the book, then once Celeste leaves Rory and her husband it just became a big mess of addicts dealing with shit going on in their lives, and that just erased all that i loved about the book. The last 5 pages got good again. But with all that, I cannot recommend this book unless you are a HUGE die hard fan of Lucinda Berry.

    It w
as a very interesting story that held my attention. I had a feeling that what happened on "that night". My theory was correct. I really hated the husband. I don't care what she did...he should not have treated her like that. They were married for 10 years so he should have listened to her explanation.

Good story and I like Lucinda Berrys ability to write about difficult subjects, but man the main character in the book is a wreck. It’s hard to believe she reached the position in her life that she did and has the inability to deal. So many times I was like omg lady deal with it like an adult and COO you are supposed to be. Only complaint though. Good storyline.
