The Unhoneymooners meets The Hating Game in this witty, clever, and swoonworthy novel following a workaholic marketing manager who is forced to go on a cruise with her arch-nemesis when they’re up for the same promotion.

Between taking night classes for her MBA and her demanding day job at a cruise line, marketing manager Henley Evans barely has time for herself, let alone family, friends, or dating. But when she’s shortlisted for the promotion of her dreams, all her sacrifices finally seem worth it.

The only problem? Graeme Crawford-Collins, the remote social media manager and the bane of her existence, is also up for the position. Although they’ve never met in person, their epic email battles are the stuff of office legend.

Their boss tasks each of them with drafting a proposal on how to boost bookings in the Galápagos—best proposal wins the promotion. There’s just one catch: they have to go on a company cruise to the Galápagos Islands...together. But when the two meet on the ship, Henley is shocked to discover that the real Graeme is nothing like she imagined. As they explore the Islands together, she soon finds the line between loathing and liking thinner than a postcard.

With her career dreams in her sights and a growing attraction to the competition, Henley begins questioning her life choices. Because what’s the point of working all the time if you never actually live?

Perfect for fans of Christina Lauren and Sally Thorne, Shipped is a fresh and engaging rom-com that celebrates the power of second chances and the magic of new beginnings.

This book was hilarious. I was listening to an audiobook and all the time smiling and giggling.
Witty, funny, cute romantic novel. A mix between The Hating game and The Unhoneymooners.

My first favorite book in 2022!
    This book is unbelievable!
At first glance, it may look like another cheesy romance book, but hell is somebody wrong who thinks about this piece that way! It enamorated me slowly, gradually like in fairytales. When I approached the ending did I realize that this book is not what I thought it was first. This is a manifesto to conservation our little, overloaded, but fascinating planet. And I loved every moment of it. The author described the Gálapagos Islands so beautifully that I could see it in front of me.
Also, I really really recommend the audiobook! Inés del Castillo's voice is so husky and lush, it fitted this book very well, not to mention her perfect pronounciation.

This was a fun book. It was a great book to read in between thrillers and heavy books.

It was light and easy to read. I really enjoyed that she didn't let her romance get in the way of her career. But she still had a relationship.

I also loved that communication was not a problem. They opened up pretty fast about how they felt and I love that!

If you are looking for a quick read fun read then this is for you!

Thank you to Netgalley and Gallery Books for this eARC!

This was a cute travel romance and its obvious that the author has a soft spot for the subject matter. Normally, I'm not into pages of scene description because I'd rather be invested in the romance, but I did appreciate some of the scenic byways it took. That said, the romance got lost amongst everything else the author was trying to say once the pair got off the ship, which was at once irritating and frustrating. I just wanted to know how it worked out! I give it three stars because it's a worthy story regardless of my issues with it.

Solid 4 stars. Cute, fun, sexy and sweet! This enemies to lovers book made me want to run out to the Galápagos Islands for a 2nd honeymoon!

Henley and Graeme (“Graham Cracker) work for the same cruise line company and are up for the same promotion. They’ve never met face to face, but already Henley doesn’t like him. According to her, he accepted the credit from their boss for a great proposal that SHE came up with. Now is her chance to show the boss who’s the better choice for the job!

Follow along as the two are sent to the Galapagos islands with the sole mission to write up a marketing proposal to attract more bookings for the cruise line. They will need to study the cruise firsthand and all of their wonderful activities, immersing themselves with the guests. As the layers are peeled back, Henley quickly discovers what really happened at work, according to Graeme. Even though she softens her feelings for him, this job promotion is still on the line for both of them. Can they keep it professional? Can they find that magic proposal that will knock it out of the park with their boss?

It was fast-paced, well written and the characters were likable.

Henley and Graham are competing for the same job. Lots of funny scenes and romance is blossoming between them. I loved this story and felt the characters in the story to be believable. Makes me want more about them and Henley’s sister Walsh.

This book is fine. The narrator was great and honestly the only reason I liked it all because the characters are very underdeveloped as well as the romance. This is a fade to black book if that matters to you, which it did for me, as it was kind all I was waiting for and then zero details, so I’m not even going to finish it because I don’t care about this plot enough even with less than hour to go

Well, this was disappointing! For me the characters were bland with an insta-love trope that was just so confusing and unnecessary. There were a few interesting scenes but cringe worthy and a bit over the top. Overall, this was a forgettable book and aside from the author's notes which were quite fascinating I will not reminisce on the characters!

**I liked the authors note at the end.**

A pretty decent and obviously modern “enemies to lovers” trope. There were still some early flirting attempts that came off creepy to me, but... I guess that’s typical of this trope.

Though I appreciate other things: she has a genuine sister relationship, a true career problem and genuine hurt from the past that I FELT (when she was upset but logically shouldn’t be, I FELT THAT). The book encapsulates women’s issues on a lot of levels and I like reading a book that’s more “true to life” in those senses. There’s also tons of info about wildlife and all the problems our world faces. This book touched on way more than romance.

I wish the romance was a bit more developed but it was still cute and I loved the ending!!

    Good Book...
I thought this book was funny, smart, loveable and sexy. Loved how they pointed out a lot about Galapagos. Loved all the characters as well. A fun read.

Laughed at how Henley called him Graeme "Graham Cracker" Crawford Collins.

Really great narration. A decent romance story set in an amazing location. I think it's really the cruise aspect and the job subplot that makes this book great and the romance was the icing on the cake.

Book was amazing! I was straining my ears trying to listen to the Narrator. It’s almost as if she was reading a bedtime story to a child just as they are falling asleep. I don’t enjoy asmr whisper narration.
