About this audiobook

A hot delta force cowboy and a sexy female army ranger plan a wedding to trap a saboteur.

Dallas Hayes muscled her way through army ranger training only to be considered a curse on her all-male unit in an operation in Syria. When half the team is killed, she's left injured, losing the lower portion of her leg and is medically discharged from the life she loved in the Army. A fight with her physical therapist at Walter Reed lands her at the Brighter Days Rehab Ranch in Montana with an offer to join the Brotherhood Protectors.

Retired delta force soldier Vince "Viper" Van Cleave did his time in the Army but hasn't managed to fit into the civilian world. What can an expert sniper do with his life when not shooting at enemy combatants? A widower, his first assignment is to masquerade as the groom of a former Army Ranger female and stage a wedding to smoke out a wedding saboteur. Together, they make a formidable team that might just make it to the altar intact.

Was there so much sex or unrealistic sex that you rolled your eyes and/or skipped forward? No

The back story... The h had part of her leg amputated after surviving an attack that cost six of her teammates their lives. She blames herself for their deaths and is wallowing after losing part of her leg. She gets a job offer with the brotherhood which has her pretending to be a bride to catch a person who is attacking just married couples. The H is hoping to impress the brotherhood so he can use his military skills to help others and is surprised by his attraction to the h.

The Romance/Gist: The h is bound and determined to keep the H at arms length. She has never really dated, doesn't feel girly and believes that men will be horrified by her amputation. The H sees her as a strong, independent and beautiful woman and wears her down.

The drama explosion... The bad guy almost kills the pretend bride.
Did it feel Real, OK or contrived? Contrived
Was it OTT? Completely - 1 million percent!
    Separation involved? No
Was it resolved properly or rushed? Properly

Final Notes... I know that it is too late for this series but please vary the ending dramatical sequence with new series!

A few things are a significant bother.
    1. Very little communication between the brotherhood members.
    2. With a few exceptions, they all seem to work alone.
    3. Every story has the h getting captured and partially/fully rescued by the H.
    4. The h always makes a TSTL move which leads to their capture.

1 and 2 are very unrealistic as SEALs and Delta Force work in teams to maximize success.

3 is frustrating and I just skip forward now to get past the near death drama to the dramatic rescue. It also hurts the reputation of the members of the Brotherhood as they failed to keep their charges safe.

4 just says that the h's emotions always get them in trouble.

    HEA or HFN? HEA
