She speaks at universities, conferences, military events, and community forums in hopes of inspiring others with her story and raising awareness about PTSD. She currently works as the Resource Development Director at Dove Harbor, a transitional shelter for women and children in crisis and instructs at Ivy Tech’s School of Business.
