This is the story of where I came from and how I moved past life’s challenges and learned how to become super in my human experience through the power of God in order to become who I am today.
My message is faith-based, and derives from my life experiences. I teach and motivate people to survive negative life experiences that would otherwise create hostage situations within their minds and prevent successful outcomes in their lives.
I was born in Lenoir, North Carolina and raised in the Freedman Community by my parents, Charles Sr. and Elizabeth Ann Witherspoon. I was educated in the Caldwell County school system and graduated from West Caldwell High School.
While in the United States Army, I obtained the rank of Sergeant. My tour of duty included locations in the continental United States, Europe and the Middle East, and my mission was to secure international borders in efforts to prevent international crises.
I went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, North Carolina, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
I have worked as a detective for the Charlotte Mecklenburg (NC) Police Department for over 29 years and have fulfilled many other roles in the area of criminal investigations.
I am also a professor at ITT Technical Institutes’ Criminal Justice program, teaching classes such as Forensic Investigation, Criminal Investigation, Introduction to Law Enforcement, and Interview and Interrogation, Senior Capstone and Cyber Crimes, Public Speaking, and Professional Portfolios.
I have received numerous awards throughout my career within the law enforcement profession and as a professor, including being featured in the 11th Edition of Biltmore’s Who’s Who.
As an Executive Protection Consultant, my role is to teach as well as provide the skills necessary to operate a dignitary protection detail for celebrities, politicians, and religious and world leaders. Previous detail operations have included Colin Powell, Rudy Giuliani, George Foreman, Phil Towns, Suze Orman and Robert Schuler, Jake Delhomme, Kweisi Mfume, and a host of entertainers.view less
