He received his Master’s Degree in Wildlife Biology from Bharathidasan University, Tamil Nadu, and holds his doctorate in Ecology of Wetland Birds in the Vembanad-Kole Ramsar Site from (Kerala Forest Research Institute, Kerala), Forest Research Institute, Deemed University, Dehra Dun.
