With a degree from Scranton University in mathematics, he worked as a mathematician, computer programmer and supervisor in industry. In 1982, he settled as a Trappist monk and five years later made solemn profession. He earned a master’s degree and taught theology in several Trappist houses over the following two decades. Br.
