Zen Heartby Hozumi Gensho RoshiThis is a precious little book that brings out the absolute best in Zen Philosophy. With it's 28 Zen teachings and accompanying 28 original works of Zen calligraphy, I could feel the peace and serenity right from jump, even before I started reading the wonderful and inspirational words. I liked that the book is small and the teachings short, but very very jammed packed with deep wonderful and insightful ponders that kept my hopes high and my spirit filled to bursting. Appropriate topics like living in today, realizing wisdom and even taking a look at gratitude in our lives were found all through this book. I feel this little number is something to be enjoyed over and over, because I noticed as I read the teachings and then returned to them later I could have sworn someone had added or changed a few words helping me to see things in a much different light. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys spirit based thinking and the heart felt ponders that just seem to flow from this book. Thank you so much Master Hozumi, for sharing your insights with this old soul.Love & Light,Riki Frahmann
