About this ebook
From the kilometers of coastline and the stories behind those weird place names (Ecum Secum?) to profiles of Joe Howe and Alexander Keith, there is no book on Nova Scotia as comprehensive and as fun. Well-known Nova Scotians like Premier Rodney MacDonald weigh in on subjects like the five Nova Scotians he admires most; Ashley MacIssac details his five greatest Nova Scotians; and Joel Plaskett gives up his favorite hangouts. From the worst weather and Nova Scotian slang to the greatest crimes, it’s all presented here.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is a funny little book, full of interesting facts about Nova Scotia and it incorporates short interviews or bits of information from famous Nova Scotians. While it has potential reference content, it is really geared towards the tourist coming out to the Maritimes.
