Introduction
Because my daughters and I own and operate an ever expanding CP soap and candle making business we have become avid mould collectors and users.
These tend to be mainly made from latex and silicone these days, and we use them on an almost daily basis in both our ‘standard’ and ‘novelty’ poured candle, and CP soap making production.
Our mould collection began much as any other soap and candle maker’s would do, by purchasing the rigid vacuum formed plastic types from various sources around the world, but we soon found that rigid plastic moulds have huge limitations, while not standing up to the high working temperatures often required.
