Addictions are rampant in the world today, including addictions to cigarettes. The reason for the huge amount of addictions is that people have a very strange notion that the brain is somehow independent and self-sufficient. But the fact is, our brains are dumb, reactive, and helpless just like a pet. Due to numerous factors in today’s world the typical brain has been “modified” into a zombie-ish, hyper-reactive yet oddly sluggish command central run amuck that dictates weird quirks; runs people into the ground with depression; compels people to binge on food, alcohol, tobacco, prescription, OTC, and recreational drugs; and ultimately collapses with neurological disease.
As brains across America became unhealthy, we’ve seen an alarming explosion of pharmaceuticals to “treat” these brain disorders, including addictions, in patients from infancy to old age. At the same time, we’ve seen a corresponding increase in addictions. The ‘Tame Your Brain’ program is designed to create a healthy brain, flooded with happy neurotransmitters. When your brain is healthy, you can easily quit smoking.
