    Introduction

The apostle Peter is perhaps the most famous of the apostles and an exploration into his life often provides lessons that many of us can learn from. Despite Peter's weaknesses, Jesus saw something special in him and recognized his potential for greatness in servitude to God. Then we will watch as Jesus restores him in love and Peter goes on to become the most crucial apostle in the early development of the Christian church. After this, we will finally touch on his death in Rome under Emperor Nero after over three decades of following Jesus.
