Finding very cheap tickets saves my company many thousands each month so I wrote this book as a guide for others in the department. Then I thought that all who fly could use this manual. You can purchase airline tickets from airline ticket consolidators at times for very cheap discount rates and save lots in travel costs; my book will tell you how and where. Affordable tickets are easy if you have the time to plan your trip and not be forced to buy last minute flights which are usually at the highest prices. Tickets on low cost airlines are great if you don't mind loosing convinces of selecting seating or mind paying for all extras including food and drinks. Some of the strategies can be used to find cheap fares on international flights, but I try to show the domestic traveler ways to save on travel including hotel costs and car rentals.Just One successful flight booking, using these ideas, can save over 100 times the cost of this book; if you travel by air you cannot afford not to get you copy now!

Recommendations from buyers
Some Satisfied buyers are saying:
Cheryl Stout:
I've travelled by air fairly extensively (and expensively) over the last 40+ years. I'm not a world traveler and don't log millions of miles but I have flown for business and pleasure MANY times. I wasn't too optimistic about How to Buy Cheap Airline Tickets
being super helpful but thought I'd buy it and check it out. It was worth the price I paid for it.
Linda Baumann:
I found this book to be full of useful tips and information. The author has definitely done her research and compiled a guide that is easy to use for anyone.
June LeClaire:
I fly several times a year, and actually worked for an airline for a while, so I thought I knew a lot about airfare and finding good-priced tickets. I wasn't surprised when I read things in this book that I already knew -- although I was happy to see that the book had them right.
J.L. Cook:
I think this informative publication could be very helpful for someone who travels often by air. Has a lot of information in it for its size.
Eric Lass:
I fly about 4 times a year to various conferences and I have to say, some of the tips in this books are going to help me a lot. If you travel at all, I highly recommend picking up this book!
In 2012 Long Awaited Passenger Rights for Fliers
This is a look at how the new rules will affect you and my response to them.
1. Refund of bag fees if luggage is lost
This is an absolute no-brainer and it’s too bad airlines had to be regulated into doing this. If you send a package by FedEx and it's an hour late past the promised delivery time, you get a refund with no questions asked. The rule doesn't include delayed bags — just lost ones.
2. Full disclosure of all fees on websites
If you know where to look, most airlines have already done this, but the fees aren't all on one easy-to-find page. Changing this will lead to better customer relations. All fees, including frequent flyer fees, bags, online booking, changes, pets, infants and whatever else should be clearly organized in one place.
3. Involuntary bumping payment increased
Even $1,300, the new maximum, won't compensate someone who missed a $10,000 cruise or forfeited a $5,000 vacation and missed two days of work plus other expenses. The good
