    Introduction

    Welcome to the guide that’s finally going to get you the six-pack abs that you have always wanted. You may have tried other programs, but fell short of your goals. The beauty of this guide is that it’s quick—only six weeks—and effective.

    You are going to learn not only how to plan your meals and exercise program, but you will also learn how to manage the other factors that contribute to belly fat, like stress and digestion problems. And more important, you will learn how to combat them, too.

    The first step is to make a commitment to get your abs in shape. Set a date you will start, and figure out your finish date, six weeks later. Having that target date in mind will keep you motivated as you inch closer and closer to it, while the inches around your waist fade away.

    Knowing where you are starting in physical terms is next. Grab the scale and a tape measure and write down your measurements in the chart below. You will need to ask someone to check your body fat. Most gyms and even doctor’s offices will perform this measurement for you at no cost.

    You will want to repeat this halfway through the process, so determine the date at the end of your three weeks, and take these measurements again.

    Next, have someone take a photo of you in your bathing suit or workout clothes. If you are too embarrassed to ask, take a photo of yourself looking in the mirror. Be sure to capture your image full-length. Do this at the three-week mark, as well.

    We’ll revisit both the charts and photos at the end of this process and update them.

    For this process, you are going to need a few things. Namely: time. You will need time to plan your menus for each week, prepare your food and fit in your workouts. The first week may seem very labor-intensive as far as these things go, but they will soon become habit and won’t seem cumbersome at all. Give yourself time to adjust and acclimate to your new routine. You may not be perfect at first, so don’t give up. Achieving six-pack abs is not easy. But you can do it.

    You are also going to need a journal to write down what you eat every day. This is an excellent way to review any missteps along the way and to determine if you have certain times of the day when you are more apt to want to cheat.

    It’s a good idea to not only write down what you ate, but also at what time and your general mood. These are clues to why you may veer off track and why your past efforts may have failed. But if you are thoughtful about writing them down
