About this ebook

Through an amazing collection of real-life hospital cases, Dr. Italia takes the reader on a truly fascinating journey into the hidden secrets of life, death, and mysterious powers beyond as seen through remarkable cures and recoveries and other unexplained phenomena.

This book is truly unique in that the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of illness and disease (including death) occur using methods that are out of necessity far beyond current medical knowledge and abilities. Within its pages, the reader will discover an amazing firsthand account of dozens of actual cases in which Dr. Italia has used time travel and other special powers and abilities that he possesses to come to the aid of seriously ill and dying patients at several major hospitals and medical centers. In addition, many different types of cases are presented including cancer, trauma, burns, heart disease, stroke, coma, and much more.

In the introductory chapter to his book, Dr. Italia states the following:

"Therefore, when faced with the unfortunate, but nevertheless real, limitations of modern medicine, conventional methods having proven to be totally inadequate or nonexistent, I have very frequently used other methods (such as time travel) that are far beyond the scope of modern medicine and natural human abilities. Through various means of a highly advanced nature known as "quantum intervention," I am able to directly perceive and alter a patient's state of physical and mental health."

It is in this chapter that Dr. Italia lays out much of the basic groundwork for the rest of his book. Here also he discusses in some detail the nature and evolution of his special powers and abilities, involving in part the use of time and space, as well as discussing the concept of space-time itself.

"Quantum Medicine" is more than just a collection of amazing stories, however. It represents a major paradigm shift as a powerful primer on life and living, offering many subtle, but important, lessons on a wide variety of personal and socially relevant topics about life, death, and health in general.

Thus, after reading this book, the reader will come away with a new level of awareness and understanding about the universe in which he/she lives and therefore be better able to use that knowledge to improve his/her life.

Perhaps, Dr. Italia says it best in his book.

"The significance of not only the existence of, but also the presence of, such enormous power and the tremendous implications for human beings in so many aspects of their lives are truly awesome as anyone can begin to imagine."

Author

Peter James Italia, MD

Peter James Italia, M.D. was born and raised in Florida and later received his Bachelor of Science from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, as well as earning degrees from Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont. He graduated from the Universidad Eugenio María de Hostos school of medicine in the Dominican Republic and later studied General Surgery in the United States. He has an extensive educational background that includes medicine, the natural sciences, computer science, business, and accounting. He is the author of the book "Quantum Medicine: True Stories Involving the Use of Time Travel in the Treatment and Prevention of Death and Disease," in which Dr. Italia describes his use of time travel and other methods far beyond current medical knowledge and abilities in the diagnosis and treatment of seriously ill and dying patients at major medical centers. He is also the author of the calculus monograph titled "Standard-Slope Integration: A New Approach to Numerical Integration," in which he describes a new method of determining the area under a curve that is both simple and (more) accurate and easily rivals classical integration methods, and the writer/composer of the inspirational song "Fly High" as well as the author of a love poem. On numerous occasions, he has also provided government, military and local authorities in the United States, as well as the news media and friends, with important information about "future" news and world events of major significance (only to be ignored and thus has given up), especially with regard to terrorism, crime, politics, war, and the weather, including the following: the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the anthrax letters, the shoe bomber, the Elizabeth Smart kidnapping, the D.C. snipers, the space shuttle "Columbia" disaster, the Madrid and London bombings, the small airplane crash in New York City involving Yankees pitcher Cory Lidle, the ambush and killing of U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, Hurricanes Katrina and Irene, the major earthquakes and tsunamis in Indonesia and Japan, the Secret Service scandal, and more. Rejected and ignored, a virtual outcast, a pariah among society, he is currently living in the USA.

    About the Author

    Preface I

Welcome to a truly fascinating and incredible journey into the hidden secrets of life, death, and mysterious powers beyond as seen through remarkable cures and recoveries and other unexplained phenomena. Quantum Medicine is an elaborate collection of amazing, real-life stories. Within this book you will find a large number of actual cases in which I have used my special powers and abilities to aid seriously ill and dying patients (including cancer, trauma, burns, heart disease, stroke, etc.) at several major hospitals and medical centers.

This book is rather unique in that the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of illness and death occur using methods that are out of necessity far beyond current medical knowledge and abilities as you will soon come to see. In the introductory chapter, I lay out much of the basic groundwork for the book. It is here also that I discuss in some detail the nature of my special powers and abilities and their early and later use, involving in part the use of time and space (think time travel with its many implications), as well as discussing the concept of space-time itself with a much greater understanding than is currently held by the scientific community as a whole. In this newly revised and updated edition, I have also included a more detailed description of how I was able to help each patient in each of the cases and what it was that I did specifically to help them in each instance.

Quantum Medicine represents a major paradigm shift in mankind’s current understanding of the universe, space-time, and time travel in that it differs significantly from everything you know (or thought you knew) about the subjects. Moreover, it serves as a powerful primer on life and living, boldly revealing human strengths and weaknesses in their most basic form in addition to providing many subtle lessons on a wide variety of relevant personal and socially-related topics about life, death, and health in general.

Thus, it is within this framework that we are brought to examine closely the inherent limits of human abilities (being as finite and mortal as they are) as well as the personal and social consequences of human actions and behavior, and how these together ultimately affect not only the life of every single person but the life of this entire planet as well. Quantum Medicine, therefore, is more than just a book about individual healing. It is a powerful essay on healing our families, our communities, our nations, and most importantly, ourselves as human beings.

And finally, the most important thing that I hope is to be gained from my book is that you come away with a new level of awareness and understanding about yourself and the universe in which you live and that you are able then to use that knowledge to improve not only your life but the lives of those you touch as well!

    Preface II

As I have been looking at my to-do list lately, I thought that now was as good a time as any to make a few updates to my book that I have wanted to do for some time.

First, I have undertaken to reformat each chapter so that it is now easier to identify where major transitions (for example, in thought, action, or time) occur within the body of the text in order to make your reading experience more enjoyable.

Second, any remaining issues with grammar left over from the previous edition have been addressed, as well as the correction of a few lingering typographical errors. In addition, other minor changes may have been made to a few sentences for added clarity.

Third, statistical information related to the number of hospitalized surgical patients in the United States and the total cost of healthcare appearing in Chapter Two and Chapter Fourteen, respectively, have been updated using the latest available data published by various health agencies and organizations.

While updating my book, I have enjoyed being able to revisit the patient cases and relive some of those moments again in my mind as if they had happened only yesterday. I will always be very grateful to the many patients and their families, doctors, nurses, and so many others who were willing to put their trust in me during what were often very difficult and stressful situations. It was at these times especially when it seemed to really matter the most because it allowed me to do what I needed to do to help save lives and relieve suffering.

Finally, my knowledge and understanding of life is very much shaped by my special powers and abilities. This, of course, affects the way in which I view the world and even our very existence itself. Also, my own day-to-day experiences are truly unlike anything you can imagine. It is my hope, however, that through the stories found within these pages that you will begin to see and feel the world perhaps in a much different way as if you were looking through my eyes, even if just for a little while.

    Enjoy the journey!

    QUANTUM

    MEDICINE

    Chapter One

    Quantum Beginnings

Throughout the vast regions of the universe lies another dimension unlike anything known to man, a world that is completely independent of both time and space. It is a place far beyond ordinary levels of existence in which reside great power and knowledge that surpass all human comprehension. Here, too, dwells a form of pure energy that is perfect and absolute in all ways, spanning all time past, present, and future.

It is this energy in its absolute, purest form together with the infinite knowledge and power that it encompasses that is the perfect essence of the Supreme Intelligence (or Being) in the universe. This is but one source of great power in the universe.

Now, there also exist quantum (or extra-dimensional) worlds made up of other dimensions and parallel (alternate) universes that serve as the source of another great and awesome power. It is the existence of these quantum worlds, together with the many wonderful promises that they hold for each and every human being, that is ultimately the subject of this book — quantum medicine. All of this is made more clearly evident through an amazing look at true hospital cases.

Whether a power of such magnitude is used to intervene in the affairs of humankind — and the extent of that involvement — however, depend in part on the kinds of choices that human beings themselves make in their lives both individually and collectively. When those choices are by their very nature good, a power of this nature can be used to help each human being to achieve their fullest potential by showing them the way and the truth. When those choices are inherently evil, however, the use of such power can be denied and its gifts withheld in order to punish human beings for their transgressions.

Before human beings can thus begin to share in the many untold promises of quantum worlds and the great power that they harbor, they must first abandon their fundamentally evil and wicked ways and begin to conduct their lives in an open and honest fashion. Not only must people everywhere make a greater effort to live and work and play together in peace and harmony, but they must also truly succeed at it. They must rid themselves of their prejudice and hatred towards other human beings, especially those whose race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, or cultural background are different from their own, or who possess a physical or mental disability. They must be willing to embrace one another while demonstrating an honest and sincere respect for the other person and a strong desire to preserve each other’s rights.

UNTIL NOW, WITH THE WRITING OF this book, my life has been a total secret, completely hidden from everyone. Except as it relates almost entirely to some of the cases in this book, I have very carefully guarded this secret my entire life, waiting for the right moment to bring it to light through the cases that I have written about in this book.

    That time has finally arrived!

Now, I am very different from most other human beings, possessing very special powers and abilities. I first became aware that I was different at a very early age. I quickly realized that the people around me such as my father and mother did not seem to know the things that I knew nor sense the things that I could sense although they were quite plain and obvious to me.

At first, when I tried to speak up, I was scolded each time not to be making up stories and telling lies. This went on for at least a couple of years. However, because it seemed that I was only succeeding in making people angry at me more often than not, I soon learned not to say anything at all.

Suddenly, the world became a very strange, lonely, and terrifying place to me.

I found that I could not relate to other people except only at their level. In fact, it was almost impossible for me to get anyone to listen to me when I had something really important to say because no one would even try to understand what it was that I was saying in the first place. In addition, I discovered during this time that I also had other more amazing powers that set me even further apart from everyone else.

Meanwhile, I began to realize the enormous potential for misuse that my knowledge was subject to in the hands of others despite all the good that it could accomplish. I understood even then at such a young age that my special powers and abilities were meant for an altogether different and far greater purpose. I readily accepted the fact at that time, therefore, that I would never really be able to share the full extent of my knowledge freely with other people because of their inherently weak and frail nature.

As a young child, for example, I very often knew what other people were thinking and what they were going to do. I often had the experience of knowing days, even months, beforehand not only that some illness or injury was going to befall some particular person, but also when and how it was going to happen. Moreover, it did not seem to matter whether I actually knew the person or if I had ever met them.

Of course, I knew good things as well as bad things like who was going to win the ball game or when it was going to rain. In school, I even knew questions that were going to be on tomorrow’s algebra test, for instance. Consequently, I was always very eager to learn but more often than not bored at the extremely slow pace of learning. In addition, I found it necessary to hold back on purpose in school in order to avoid attracting too much attention to myself.

Now, because of the extent of my foreknowledge as well as the amount of specific detail that I knew, I found that I could easily influence or change what was going to happen whenever I wanted. As a result, I frequently acted as a catalyst or inhibitor in many different situations that I encountered while I was growing up.

In addition to my innate precognitive abilities, however, I also learned that I had the natural ability to control objects with my mind as well as the ability to summon up other forces of nature. I could therefore make things happen by simply willing them to happen. Thus, I found that I had the power to control machines and other equipment, the power to influence the weather, and the power also to heal.

I was also able to see and communicate with demons and spirits and Death as a child, being aware that they originated from a world that was entirely different and separate from this one we know. At first, they tried to taunt and tease me. However, upon realizing that I was a potentially powerful adversary and that their powers were useless against me, they began to leave me alone although we still continued to encounter one another quite often.

Moreover, I also had total out-of-body experiences, usually in my sleep, during which I was able to travel to exotic places and hostile environments both on this planet and beyond. Once there, I was fully able to perceive everything around me as though I was physically there.

This served as my first foray into time travel.

However, I soon found that whenever I wanted to leave the present, that I could also travel forward and backward in time — both into the future and into the past. For example, by moving forward in time I was able to join a group of friends later in the week to see what was going on or to sit in for a while on the next day’s spelling lesson in school.

FOR CENTURIES, PEOPLE HAVE believed in the power of the unknown from the courts of kings and ancient civilizations to organized governments and modern-day societies. The influence of mind over matter (psychokinesis), for example, has been so well proven to exist, according to psychic and author Alan Vaughan, that now the main research efforts have shifted to finding out how to make it work better.¹ Still, many unanswered questions remain today regarding the true existence of the paranormal. Renowned British writer Colin Wilson devotes an entire book to the subject in which he goes to considerable length in order to explain how he first became convinced of its existence through his systematic investigation into the occult.²

Even now, as an adult, I still possess the same special powers and abilities.

As a result, I do not live within the normal human constraints of time and space. By this I mean that I am not strictly limited by the physical (spatial) or temporal elements of the natural world.

As a practical consideration, however, I do realize that time is a very useful and essential tool for the human population. It is the result of a basic human need to impose a kind of extrinsic order so that human beings can carry out their everyday existence within the natural constraints placed upon them by their own inherent physical and mental limitations.

Time is, in fact, important to all things, both living and nonliving, because it establishes both an absolute order marking the first moment of their very existence and a relative order in which to conduct that existence, that is, simply to exist.

However, time and space for me take on an additional, very special quality — one that also has extraordinary significance for human beings. It is something long dreamed of by people everywhere and from every social, educational, religious, and ethnic background throughout the ages, going as far back perhaps as early man.

I am speaking of time travel!

I shall now try to explain. Let us begin by first taking a look at time and space.

Time and space are closely interwoven within a complex, multidimensional system known as the diaplex.³ Within this system, which contains the space-time continuum, the past, the present, and the future coexist in harmony together at the same time. Thus, I am able to navigate the diaplex with relative ease thereby giving me the means to access different points in space and time — or time travel. This, therefore, also allows me the opportunity to alter both time and space in a very real sense and directly (or indirectly) affect the objects and events contained therein, which I shall explain in greater detail shortly.

As a physician, I have always striven to do no harm to my patients, trying to help each of my patients to the fullest possible extent while avoiding careless and thoughtless mistakes. This has usually entailed employing any of the conventional methods of modern medicine currently available at the time.

Modern medicine, however, is very limited in what it can accomplish. Moreover, it is only as good as the people, the machines, the tools, and the medicines that together make it all work. The physical, intellectual, and emotional capabilities of human beings all come into play here and serve as the fundamental limiting factors as in all human endeavors.

Doctors, for example, generally approach their patients with a specific treatment rationale in mind based upon the extent of their overall medical, as well as their general, knowledge and skills. The extent of their abilities, however, is governed largely by their own personal limitations.

In addition to the above, it is just as important to realize that the particular type of treatment that is employed can itself often be confounded or severely limited by the very diseases and conditions that are being treated.

Therefore, when faced with the unfortunate, but nevertheless real, limitations of modern medicine, conventional methods having proven to be totally inadequate or nonexistent, I have very frequently used other methods (such as time travel) that are far beyond the scope of modern medicine and natural human abilities. Through various means of a highly advanced nature known as quantum intervention, I am able to directly perceive and alter a patient’s state of physical and mental health.

As incredible as this might sound, it should not be totally surprising. In his book The Magic of Believing, Claude M. Bristol states that when more is learned about the powers of the mind…we shall witness many cures that today’s medical profession deems impossible.

I am not, however, a spiritualist, a faith healer, a shaman, or a layer-on of hands. Neither am I a mystic, an ascetic, or a prophet.

Who and what I am is a builder and destroyer of worlds and lives, exacting justice where there is none. To some I bring peace and hope, using my special powers and abilities to help them. But for others, there may be nothing — only more misery and death.

In those instances, for example, where a patient’s body is still quite capable of healing itself, I might decide to do nothing and just let the patient’s body take care of itself. On the other hand, I might just as well decide to give it a boost and help it along. In cases where a patient’s body can no longer effectively repair itself, however, I might elect to restore it myself or do whatever it is that I have intended to do for that patient depending on the specific circumstances and various other factors involved.

Every patient who has come into my care has always been afforded at the very least the best possible medical treatment available to them using conventional methods. However, it is not every patient who requires — or indeed receives — the additional benefits of the far more advanced kind of intervention of which I am highly capable. The reason for this is very often quite complex.

For some patients, their illness may be an integral part of their life in some respect. It may be, for example, a completely natural occurrence, or perhaps it may serve as some kind of lesson to the patient and to others. For other patients, their illness may simply reflect the conditions within their community and the world around them.

I must caution you here that it is almost pointless to try to second-guess me in this regard. For each individual patient, many factors bear upon how far beyond the means of conventional medicine that I will extend my special help, if at all. It is without a doubt a very complex decision-making process in which, because of my highly advanced nature, I have my own set of rules that I follow in accordance with my special powers and abilities and by which a plan is carefully established for each individual person. It is a tremendous and awesome task that concerns everything big and small in matters dealing with both life and death. Because of this, I take my position and powers very seriously and by no means carry out my duties and responsibilities in a careless or haphazard manner but rather in a manner that is consistent with the highly advanced nature of my position and powers.

Each and every patient is thus given fair and just consideration.

The extraordinary cases presented in this book provide a very broad and basic view of just some of the things that I am truly capable of doing. It is perhaps of great interest to note that throughout this book, because of the very special nature of my abilities, I very often put myself at some sort of risk or through some undue hardship for the sake of my patients and their families. As a result, I was quite accustomed to the harsh criticism, cruel insults, severe reprimands, and slanderous remarks, which always seemed to abound, made by a great many doctors, nurses, and residents who were blind at the time as to what I was actually doing.

Although the very intriguing question concerning what it is that I do exactly and how I do it is completely beyond the scope and purpose of this book, it is still one of considerable interest I am sure and is therefore discussed here in some detail. Nevertheless, there are two important considerations to keep in mind at this juncture. The first is that any explanation that I offer will be virtually beyond the scope of human experience and understanding. The second is that any knowledge that I impart in this regard will serve no other purpose beyond that for which it is carefully intended.

In other words, what I am simply trying to say here is that human beings at this point in their evolution possess neither the kind of highly advanced mental ability nor the kind of highly advanced knowledge that is required in order to be able to perform feats of such an extraordinary nature.

Therefore, I am not promising you that you will be able to time travel, for example, after reading this book. It bears mentioning again here that the primary purpose of this book is to enlighten readers as to the many amazing possibilities that exist in the universe awaiting mankind.

And so, let us continue now in our quest for knowledge and enlightenment.

As I mentioned at the beginning of this chapter, beyond the natural (physical) world as we know it there exist other worlds known as quantum (or extra-dimensional) worlds that are totally separate and independent of our own world. The gateways (that is, quantum portals) to these other dimensions and parallel (alternate) universes are by their very nature governed by a different set of natural principles and laws.

One of the fundamental differences between our world and these gateways (or portals) to the quantum worlds is the fact that the natural world is dependent upon various forms of physical energy, whereas the portals themselves rely upon other forms of (exotic) energy. It is also important to keep in mind that the function of these portals is to actually connect one dimension to another.

An innate and inseparable part of me, the knowledge and power that I possess are both, in fact, extraordinary in nature. The knowledge itself is not acquired through any of the usual five physical senses. However, it is not anything like a hunch, intuition, or premonition. This special knowledge is very real, though, being not very different from the knowledge gained through sight, sound, smell, touch, or taste.

My inherent powers and abilities themselves originate solely from an eternal source of great and unimaginable power, one that is both infinite in its scope and capable of sustaining itself independent of all else. Unlike many of the tales of sorcerers and their magicks, my powers do not gradually grow weaker and become exhausted with use, requiring a certain interval of time in which to replenish themselves, although I myself might need time to recover physically.

Furthermore, in order to produce their effect and bring about a certain change, my powers do not normally involve a transfer of energy to others although this is certainly possible and is something that I have done on occasion. Rather, I have the ability to create a distortion in the fabric of space and time, a so-called space-time rift, by means of which I can precisely control and direct the occurrence of a particular event.

In other words, I can alter space-time!

In order to better illustrate this principle, imagine that the particular event that we wish to control is a train coming down a railroad track, which for our purposes represents normal space-time. Along this track, there is a switch and a short section of track (or portal) leading to a parallel set of railroad tracks, our other dimension, for example. By simply operating the switch, the train can be set on the second set of tracks, thus effecting a change in space and time of the train itself relative to where it would have been located had it remained on the original set of tracks. This can occur any number of times at various points on either track wherever a so-called switch is located.

Note, however, that in absolute terms both time and space are constant and immutable. What is changeable is the location in time and space of objects and events. Moreover, the actual space-time rift itself requires very little energy; however, it is itself capable of consuming vast amounts of energy. It is similar in some respects to, perhaps, a more familiar astrophysical phenomenon, the black hole.

THUS, THIS BOOK PROVIDES A RARE and otherwise totally unique look at actual hospital cases with amazing insights into each case, thoroughly examining what really occurred in each case. Generally speaking, patients are closely followed from the moment of their arrival in the emergency room (ER) or the hospital through every critical moment of their hospitalization. You will find yourself being powerfully drawn into the actual cases themselves through the large amount of significant background information that is constantly provided concerning the patients themselves and the events that surround them as a result of their illnesses. Patients are often followed into the operating room (OR) and into the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) as appropriate. They are revisited wherever they may be found in the hospital.

While this book takes a very serious look at many important issues, it also runs the gamut of life’s emotional experiences. There are moments of great triumph and joy through terrible tragedy and grief. There are situations that will be very amusing and others that will be deeply troubling.

There are patients who will live, and there are those who will die.

In other words, life within a large hospital is seen as it truly is.

You will thus experience all of the happiness and joy of the patients and their families as well as all of their pain and sorrow. Life and death will be seen up close as never before seen.

In addition, a close, hard look is taken at the state of so-called modern medicine. The ability of human beings to deal effectively with the pain, suffering, and death caused by serious disease, injury, and other illness is examined as well as the very real limitations human beings face in this regard. No one or nothing is excluded. Thus, hospitals, doctors, nurses, other hospital staff, medical students, patients, and their families, in addition to the current state of medicine, are closely scrutinized with regard to medical technology, medical knowledge and skills, medical practices, and medical education.

Subtle or indirect suggestions are sometimes offered, pointing to areas where the medical community at large can make substantial improvements in the practice and delivery of healthcare today. Important hints may also be gleaned from the contents of these pages on how to begin the very challenging tasks that lie ahead.

There are vital lessons in morality and mortality included for everyone alike concerning not only medical care but also many important aspects of living, dying, the nature of humanity, and the natural order of the universe.

In part autobiographical in nature, this book also reveals a number of important facets about my life virtually all for the first time to anyone, including the fact that I possess special powers and abilities of a highly advanced (quantum) nature. In each of the cases presented in this book, I necessarily assumed a very special role. Following my carefully laid out plans, which always differed from one patient to the next, I brought comfort, relief, and healing to a large number of patients. In many instances, I delivered a clear message of warning to other doctors and patients so that they might avoid danger and trouble. To many other persons whom I felt were also in need of and deserving of my special attention, I generously bestowed my special knowledge and power upon them, too.

Regardless of who they are or where they live, human beings are the elitists, the separatists, and the anarchists of this world. Every human being is a complex composite of the primal instincts of superiority, individuality, and independence, which together constitute the human factor. Always at the center, representing the ego and the id, the human factor is the principal manifestation of the most basic of the coadapted instincts of higher animals: survival and pleasure. It becomes the central driving force, therefore, in all human relations and endeavors.

If human beings are to truly realize their full potential as an intelligent form of life, they must learn to wisely use their given strengths in order to overcome their inherent weaknesses. This can be accomplished only if human beings first come to know and govern themselves in accordance with the laws of nature and to respect the special position accorded them in this world. For their sake and the sake of all of their children, people must learn to get along with everyone and everything if humankind is to survive into the future.

On this planet called Earth, human beings have been generously entrusted with the stewardship of all that it contains. If, on the one hand, they truly care for
