About this ebook
The Teacup Pig Series is a complete illustrated guide for owners and breeders of pet pigs, in six parts.
It gives information and stories gleaned over nearly 20 years of breeding them and observing them in the wild, and is illustrated with so many beautiful colour photos that it's almost a comic book! People not intending to get a pet pig will still love looking at all the photos! (People intending to get a piglet might change their minds after seeing the cover photo of book 4, which is the stuff of nightmares! Look inside book one's cover to see those of the other books.)
Everything about miniature pet pigs is explained, including what 'teacup', 'micro', 'nano', 'pocket', 'mini', 'potbelly' or 'potbellied' pigs are; their size; what they are like in the wild and as pets; where to find honest breeders and avoid fraudsters; how to choose and rear piglets; how to introduce them to other pets and teach toilet manners; what their needs are to be happy; causes and remedies of behavioural problems; understanding pig 'language'; communicating and training; food and health; and breeding these little pigs.
Book one gives a unique insight into the nature of these little pigs in Nature!Understanding them and their needs is important so that we can make them happy and loving members of our families, and enjoy them quietly plodding in our lives for many years. Not understanding them can cause unhappiness and abnormal aggression that can end in disaster for all, and a short stay in your home for your piglet.
Find out why miniature pigs are becoming such popular pets - why so many people are falling for their charms, and why they are so ideal for town houses with only small gardens.
Find out what 'teacup pigs' are, what the smallest pigs in the world are, and how to find them.
Learn how to see the difference between piglets and adults, and when they are being starved to look small.
Find out how to sift honest breeders from the mulch of fraudsters out there selling non-existent pigs.
And enjoy the book!

This book is dedicated to all the pet pigs in the world who are helping to teach people that all animals have ‘personalities’ and deserve love, respect, and at the very least, decent treatment - even those who we have learnt to eat.
It’s also dedicated to the people who do the same. And to ‘Babe’ who started it all…! Thank you.
A bit about myself (the author)
Animals have always been my passion
The ‘bit’ about me that is relevant to my Teacup Pig Series, is my experience and knowledge about these little pigs.
In a nutshell, I understand these little pigs very well. I’ve bred them and observed them in the wild in the African bush for the last 20 years. I’ve given hundreds of people advice about their pigs, and have learnt what people need to know to live happily with them. I’ve trained them and other animals professionally, including thousands of dogs who I rescued and re-homed, and am good at it! (I train a pig to sit in two minutes: I train a dog to do obedience or tracking in 20 minutes.) I also take nice photos, which you should enjoy!
