What is a Sea Otter?

Sea otters are mammals that live in the sea.

Sea otters have very cute faces. Their faces start out dark when the sea otter is a baby. The older a sea otter gets, the lighter its face gets.

Sea otters have flippers as arms and flippers as feet. The strange thing is that sea otters swim with their front paws pressed down against their stomachs. Their back flippers do all the work.

They have very good eyesight, both on top of the water, and when they are swimming under the water. They can also hear very well.

Sea otters also smell
