    I stumbled across a couple of web articles about an upcoming "Global Economic Collapse" whilst researching for another project several months ago. What Global Economic Collapse?!!! Why wasn't I told about this before? Why didn't my family or friends know about it? Why wasn't it in the news?
    The idea was so outrageous that some investigation was required to debunk what I had read. Instead, what I discovered was just the opposite - data, logical arguments and sound advice from industry experts and observers - in support of the event.
    The situation is an unfolding tragedy that governments and mainstream media have chosen not communicate to the general population. We are heading into perilous times and will face an economic crises unlike anything the world has experienced in history.
    This book is a result of months of research and has needed to be published in relative haste. My objective is to:
    1. Alert as many as possible to what is coming up.
    2. Educate readers who have little knowledge of, time or inclination, to study Geo-Politics, Economics and the Banking Industry.
    3. Provide guidelines using basic project management principals to help with focusing effort and resources - for readers who are unsure of how to efficiently organise preparations.
    Yes, Geo-Politics, Economics and the Banking Industry to many of us are very dry subjects however at this point, it is imperative that everyone understands what is occurring around us. I have therefore attempted to present the information in an interesting way and "nutshelled" it, so it can be read and digested quickly. The text is also supplemented with links to in-depth web content for more information.
    It is difficult to understand why so many people are intentionally being put in harm's way but it is happening never-the-less. People who are unaware and unprepared when it happens will likely lose everything they have worked for, including their savings - the savings that are thought to be safely tucked away inside the bank.
    This is not an "if" but a "when" event that will affect everyone regardless of where they live in the world. Therefore it is vital that preparation action is taken with urgency to protect against what lies ahead.

      PREFACE

      I am not an economist nor am I involved with the finance industry or politics in any way. So I hear you all ask: what qualifies you to write a book about global economics? I think I can answer by saying that it is precisely because I am none of the above that allows me to present a layman's interpretation and view of the issues soon to confront us. My findings will likely align with those of the average person undertaking the same investigation - providing of course, it is approached with an open mind. Also, if this were another tome containing detailed data, rigorous analyses and industry jargon, my audience would likely be overwhelmed (as would I), eyes would glaze and the message would be lost. So for those of you who are anticipating something of an academic or literary masterpiece your expectations will not be met. However, its underlying message is of the utmost importance and therefore worthy of attention: an event where every economy across the world, with little exception, is going to be very negatively impacted.

      By way of background, I have only just over the past 6 to 7 months been conscious of the subject covered in this book. Those who have been aware of the state of the global economy for some time will have anticipated a crisis or collapse long before now and are probably wondering what planet I've been living on not to have known before then. Chances are that if you are reading this book, you were on the same planet I was. The truth is, we have probably been occupied with events and happenings of daily life but more likely, have been kept in the dark by a tightly controlled mainstream media.

      My awakening began when I was waiting for my next work contract. At the time, I was also working on a personal project and was in the relatively early stages of research when I came across what seemed to be a credibly written web article about a pending catastrophe affecting all economies worldwide. It was at a time when I had become increasingly aware of how much the mainstream media shaped our view of the world but until then, didn't know to what extent. We have been presented with ignorance, misinformation, crafted rhetoric and even worse, silence by journalists and the media, whose role it is in our community to call out those who govern or influence our lives.

      As my curiosity drove me to dig a little deeper, to my astonishment the noise from alternative news content providers, personal and business blogs, YouTube video and audio content and forums across the web, was deafening. There was so much information out there on the internet about failing currencies, banks, financial markets and economies but from mainstream media, very little if anything at all. Governments (together with those who influence them), financial institutions and traditional media across the world have placed all their citizens in an untenable position and yet remain silent on the dangers we are about to face. Lives are potentially at risk as are our financial and social structures when the global economic network begins to destabilise and break down.

      It is therefore, very difficult for most who consume information from traditional sources to fall upon under-the-radar subject matter regardless of how important or high impact it might be. I have therefore, made it my mission to go some way toward alerting those who are willing to listen. While some are aware of what lies ahead, most are not. Others may never be convinced until they are hit between the eyes with reality. There isn't much that can be done to turn around the thinking of those with high levels of scepticism but for individuals who are willing to open their minds and eyes, and act upon this knowledge will be at an advantage when the time comes.

      Purposely written to be short and concise, the speed at which this book needed to be published was time critical so I apologise in advance for subjects or details either missing or covered very lightly. The content is an aggregation of the material I have read and viewed over the past months rather than a detailed analysis. It is not my intention to regurgitate information already in the public domain so I have pointed by way of links to more qualified or eloquently presented explanations, information and knowledge.

      I also urge everyone not to accept the information presented at face value but use it as a starting point for further research and due diligence before taking a course of action. The nature and level of action will need to be tailored to reflect personal, economic and social circumstance but must also take into account where in the world you reside. Some regions will face higher levels of threat and hardship than others such as the US, where risk to personal safety is of greatest concern.

      As for format, the most commonly agreed destabilising events are discussed in each chapter. There is greater focus on the US dollar due to its world reserve currency status and size of the US economy. Many other countries however, face similar dangers because for so many years, the US has exported their woes out into the world. A few other at risk economies will be briefly covered also but keep in mind that events that occur within the US will trickle out to the rest of the world. The world's entire banking network, with the exception of just a handful of nations, is now joined at the hip to the largest US banks. Failure of either of any of these will have devastating effects worldwide.

      Before continuing, a clarification is order. When US is written, it is the US Government to whom I specifically refer. This includes the front-men and a shadow government who sit behind them to control their every decision and action. There is no anti-American sentiment here, for US citizens have been victims of deceit and exploitation by their government and financial institutions for decades (as have citizens of other countries).

      I have no financial or commercial associations with any of individuals or organisations referenced in this book nor is there an intention on my part to provide financial advice. I urge all readers to seek independent advice or consultation with those most qualified to do so.
