About this ebook

No matter how much we plan, life—and people—have a way of surprising us.

For Doctor KT O'Bannon, a near-fatal tragedy derails a career and disrupts everything she thought she knew about herself and her future. Battered and nearly broken, she turns for solace to the one woman who knows her best, her ex-lover Doctor Tory King. Their unexpected reunion in Provincetown uncovers old wounds, forges new bonds, and awakens long-buried passions. While Tory's lover Sheriff Reese Conlon struggles to uncover a deadly drug ring and Officer Bri Parker navigates the torturous path between friendship and desire, Tory and KT—and those who love them—are forced to examine the boundaries of love, friendship, and the ties that transcend time.

More with the Radclyffe created characters of Provincetown Massachusetts. There's lots more with Reese and Tory (and their newest addition), as well as some more with Bri, Allie and Caroline. And a new story with KT (yep, Tory's former KT) and a Physical/Occupational therapist named Pia.KT comes to work at Tory's clinic and that brings some tension. And she's just been through some horrible horrible stuff, and has to see Pia in professional capacity. But, can they be more too? There's also a case that Reese, Allie, and Bri (and Nelson) are on. This time the case of drug parties and those who go to them, and those who sell drugs at them. Also, Bri is trying to go for her black belt.As usual, even though there are a lot of things going on, it all weaves pretty well together, both telling a compelling story as well as setting up the next one too.I wasn't totally psyched when I read the name KT in the text, but, I have to say that for the most part the journey with her during the book was pretty goo, and I didn't hate her as much by the end of the novel.
