      There are free online tools for researching the demographics of your community. Go to www.city-data.com or a similar website to look at the demographics of the zip codes that surround you.

      Consider your expertise and strengths.

      Ask yourself:

      • What are your strongest areas of expertise?

      • Do they match the procedures your local market seeks?

      • Are they profitable procedures?

      • Do you need to let your neighbors know you have these strengths?

      • Do you need to be stronger in other areas?

      • Do you have the skills and team developed to offer more services that you know your local market wants?

      • If your community will support a strong return on investment in new training and equipment, what is stopping you?

      Visualize that you are in a community that is primarily 50+ years of age.
