    FSpace Roleplaying Derelict Encounter v2 - Martin Rait

    Introduction

    This is a short scenario designed to be used as an adventure session filler within a existing campaign. Alternatively it can be used as a lead in for a campaign of the GM’s devising. The scenario is a space encounter and can take place at any point in space. It is best to situate it in a sparsely populated part of known space. Ideally it should be based in a red dwarf (M class star) star system which is uninhabited, except maybe an outpost the characters could be manning at the time.

    The theme of this scenario is really just an investigation of a mysterious and empty alien starship. The more exciting parts are the events the characters may wind up in following that investigation, whether they try and salvage it, identify it origins or get tangled up in the activities of others interested in it.

    The exact nature of these follow own events should be determined by the GM and will largely depend on the nature of the campaign being run, who the characters are and what they decide to do about the
