First and foremost, this is NOT a diet plan! It is the missing link to a lifetime of successful weight control. It might better be described as a diet preparation class. There have been hundreds if not thousands of diets and no matter what the plan; many people have used them to lose body weight. My goal is not necessarily to help you lose weight, although I’m sure you will. My goal is to help you better understand your personal relationship with food and how exciting life can be when you’re happy with your body just the way it is, while knowing you can recreate it just the way you want it to be. No stress and no diets necessary! This book is also intended to help you get the most benefit from any food plan you choose, and perhaps even more importantly, help you make an educated and healthy choice around your thoughts and actions with respect to food.
Be forewarned, this life-changing experience can ONLY happen when you’re ready! I will supply the tools and information that will help. You need to supply the mental courage and dedication. Remember - your life is what you make of it! Don’t just settle for good. You have the power to make it GREAT! Obesity affects about one in four adult Americans, and it’s the same in many parts of Europe. In the course of one year, over half of Americans and Europeans go on a weight-loss diet, a fact I find truly amazing. Unfortunately, diets only work while you’re on the diet. Seldom do they really change your life. The potential for gaining more than you originally lost is significant! I can see the various testimonials now, I went on this diet and weighed 200 pounds. Nine months later I went from 180 to 220. But it’s okay. I’ll try this new plan. It’ll work for sure.
These diet people have your dependency down to an art, a very profitable art. I heard recently that you can even visit a doctor
for a custom designed pill with just the right amounts of whatever the latest miracle drug is. A little more drug if you’re really heavy - and less for a small spare tire in your middle. Unbelievable! We all want it to be easy and quick, but it’s not. It took many years for you to develop your concepts and attitudes about food and health. It will take time to re-learn them.
