Angie has arrived back in the future with her mission objective, Wayne, in tow. Her personal timeline is about to get knotty - she's arrived a year before she left, and her murdered colleague is alive and well. Now she has to foil the enemy plot before it can get off the ground, while avoiding her former self.
The Yesterday's Cat serial follows Angie through two different timelines - Timeline A and Timeline B - in parallel.
This is the second episode in Timeline A of the Yesterday's Cat serial.

Brief Recap
Returning from a mission which failed due to a miscalibration, Angie Chau discovered that the Time Department had more than just low-level screw-ups to worry about. Goons in balaclavas invaded the labs and Angie’s apartment, and she suspects that they’ve stolen the time-travel technology and are now after her – whether due to her mission or her place in the department, she doesn’t know. A video message from a colleague killed in the raid, meant for her missing boss, discloses that he’d had suspicions for a while – about her. She completes the mission to bring Wayne back to the future, but she returns to a future in which the dead colleague is alive and well.
