About this ebook
There are nearly 20,000 Starbucks stores around the world, with approximately 150,000 employees and untold numbers of customers. The Barista is IN offers an inside view of a Starbucks from a Starbucks barista’s point of view as she describes the environment that touches so many people. With humorous and heartwarming stories about the training process, the staff and the customers, Dairy Martin entertains and informs. Her enjoyment of her job, the customers, and of course, Starbucks coffee, shows through her writing and leaves the reader craving their daily fix of Caramel Machiatto, Latte, or whatever their barista can whip up.
The Author - Dairy Martin lives in Ohio with her very manly Husband Oz, and their four children who would like it to be known that they don’t appreciate being called bunchkins. Dairy worked at a Starbucks while in college and enjoyed the atmosphere, but soon she realizes that a lot can change in 20 years. She works at a Starbucks that is just down the street from her house and she really loves short, breve lattes.
