      Herein lays a story way too common. So common the average American has no idea it’s happening. This is a story about one Independent Contract driver on the eastern coast of the US. He works for a company so large and so well-known you see the company logo everywhere, on the streets, in movies, on the television in shows and in regular magazine, newspaper and television ads. It is an American success story. They deliver millions and millions of packages, of all sizes, every day, every hour, all around the world. They are such a part of the everyday life we all live, you can now find that company name used as a common verb in the American English dictionary.

      The CEO and founder imagined the idea for his company as a young soldier in Vietnam. When he originally put the idea out it was rejected as too far-fetched, but he knew it wasn’t. His company in fact became a cutting edge new brand of business, its motto, much like the one used by the US Military Marines, One for all and all for one.

      The Independent Contractor (IC) though is not privy to this. They should be because they embody so many of the principals, values and beliefs of the overall American success story. The IC is the boss, they go out every day to make, not take, their worth for themselves and who ever is working with them.
