About this ebook
When Tracy Pickman decides to open a used bookstore in downtown Dunwich, Massachusetts, things don't go as smoothly as she expected. The building is haunted. The customers are illiterate. And a mysterious young man named Wilbur Whately is driving her to distraction. Can Tracy have it all: a career and a successful relationship? Or will everything come crashing down when Wilbur's otherworldly brother gets involved?
A Lovecraft parody of romantic proportions.

Dear Asenath,
I hope it's okay that I'm calling you that. I spent hours trying to decide on a proper name for a diary, but nothing seemed to fit except 'Asenath,' which was the name of my best friend in sixth grade.
Now, when I say 'best friend,' I mean that she sat next to me in Social Studies and never once spoke, but fixed me with a protruding, faintly icthyian stare that seemed to root me to the spot. She had this alien look to her that was strangely hypnotic. Once or twice, I think she tried to switch bodies with me. Animals hated her. Come to think of it, it's possible that I hated her as well.
So, maybe not the best name for my diary after all. Maybe I should have gone with my second choice, which was 'Brian.' Or my third, which was 'Liz.' Or my fourth, which was 'Larry Byrd.'
Oh, well. What's done is done.
My decision to keep a diary came on the heels of my decision to open a used book store. That's right, Asenath—I've decided to go for it! Owning and operating a used book store has been my dream since childhood, but only recently have I packed up enough courage to see it through. I'm so excited!
Older brother Frank is not excited. He told me this morning that he thinks it's a bad idea, and that I should maybe stick to teaching Kindergarten. I asked him if he thought I was incapable of running a small business because I am a woman.
He replied that, on the contrary, he thought I was infinitely capable, but that there was no one on Earth capable enough to make a viable used book store out of a box of old Archie comics and seven copies of I, Alex Cross.
We'll see about that!
The property that I've acquired as my store front is in a little town not far from here. It's called Dunwich (the town, not the property. The property isn't called anything yet, though I plan on naming it
