      Instant Love is a lovely guide to Polaroids and other instant cameras. The book begins with a short history of the Polaroid camera as well as an introduction to various instant camera models, including their specific functions, camera use, and optimal lighting situation. (As a proud Instax Mini 7s owner, I appreciate the blurb about Fujifilm's Instax line of cameras.) The rest of the guide is dedicated to photography tips, storage and display ideas, a portfolio of Polaroids by the authors, and useful resources for aspiring photographers. The section I find most useful is "the basics" -- general photography tips to good composition and exposure. While not specific to instant cameras, the basic tips were useful in creating an interesting visual style. Instant Love is a fun and informative read for people interested in instant photography.
