About this ebook
If you're a dinosaur, all of your friends are dead. If you're a pirate, all of your friends have scurvy. If you're a tree, all of your friends are end tables. Each page of this laugh-out-loud illustrated humor book showcases the downside of being everything from a clown to a cassette tape to a zombie. Cute and dark all at once, this hilarious children's book for adults teaches valuable lessons about life while exploring each cartoon character's unique grievance and wide-eyed predicament. From the sock whose only friends have gone missing to the houseplant whose friends are being slowly killed by irresponsible plant owners (like you), All My Friends Are Dead presents a delightful primer for laughing at the inevitable.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Hilarious. Brilliant. Little incisive cartoons that had me guffawing in the bookstore and wishing I had a million dollars so I could by a copy for each and every one of my not-dead friends.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Absolutely hilarious! Loved it :)
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5First of all if you're looking at getting this for a young kid...don't. This is not a kids book, unless you're looking at introducing death to them in a humorous/unusual way. What this book is, is a short, funny, dark look at how death can come to everyone and everything...even the inanimate. Each page features a different character with a short statement about how death has impacted them, including a sock bemoaning its missing mate and a plant asking you to stop buying its friends if you're just going to kill it. Its a quick read, but it will have you laughing quickly and cheer you up on those days that you're feeling down.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5An example of a rare and captivating species, the adult picture book. It'll definitely make you chuckle (in a sad way). And the ending put into words the kind of thoughts I've been pondering for years.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A short, witty, adult picture book whose title explains it all.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The blurb says 'the saddest funny book and the funniest sad book you'll ever read' and it couldn't be truer. Such a fantastic little read.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A little morbid, but absolutely adorable and just plain hilarious. I saw a blog about the book online and immediately ordered it from Chronicle Books. I loved each and every page, and definitely think this is a fantastic adult "kids book."
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Short, amusing book that would serve as a delightful coffee table book for the slightly morbid. Maybe I need to get a coffee table now.
