The symposium was held in conjunction with the Bureau's centennial anniversary birthday party at Hoover Dam. Reclamation's history is a rich tapestry filled with the politics, colorful personalities, and the unique character of the West. It is marked by engineering accomplishments and economic growth woven into the tapestry of western water development and delivery.
