About this ebook
I have met the leaders of autism non-profit organizations here locally and to me it appears that they are more interested in running a business that makes money and looks good to the public eye than they are helping people. I have never experienced this before in my life and cannot to this day understand where this behavior is coming from but I do believe that autism has been turned into a business that makes a ton of money by both the pharmaceutical industry as well as the autism non-profit organizations.
It has been my experience that autism non-profits are small groups of people or special interests groups only interested in one viewpoint on autism. They only advocate for what that one belief or viewpoint is that they have and do not care about the needs that other families have nor do they care about the needs of other individuals living with autism.
The autism non-profits turn autism into a money making business and create competition between one another to see who can raise the most money to look the best in the public eye.
This book is all about autism non-profits and how they function. At one point you will learn how one leader of an autism non-profit would not allow a parent to participate in an awareness activity because she did not have the right colored shirt on. She was wearing the color of a competing autism non-profit organization so she was asked not to participate with her son.
In this book you will learn how local and national autism non-profit organizations ignore the opinions of autistic individuals and do not allow us to get help. Follow along as one autism non-profit says they can not promote something that would help people with autism because if people with autism get better and learn social skills then there is no need for that autism non-profit organization. This book will open your eyes to an alarming issue that many adults with autism face throughout their lifespan. We should not have to fight against the autism non-profits who claim they help all people with autism . Parents you need to know what all goes on and have your eyes opened before you make a decision to donate money to a non-profit and this book will open your eyes to a lot of things.
