Geraldine Porter, retired English teacher and miniature doll house fanatic is invited to visit the "upper class" part of town to see the doll house collection of local best-selling author Varena Young. While her visit is interrupted she does manage to see the most famous of Varena's doll houses, the "Lord and Lady Morley".

Once home she is contacted by nephew Skip, a police detective, asking her questions about when she last saw Varena and what she heard while in the home. Seems some one hit Varena over the head and the gracious lady is now dead.

As usual Gerry's young granddaughter gets involved in the mystery as well as "companion" Henry.

There are plenty of twists and turns and some true surprises in the latest entry in the Miniature Mysteries.

I love Gerry and her family as well as her gentle way of investigating a crime. She always gives everything she finds immediately to the police and she does her best to stay out of harms way.

Now, I can't wait for the next book to be released.
