About this ebook

A clear, informative and practical guide to Tarot cards reading. This book is based on the centuries-old Tarot de Marseille, arguably the most authentic and powerful version of the Tarot cards. Yet its methods and approach - a free form of reading which integrates intuition and knowledge - can be applied to other decks as well.

Includes: evolution of the Tarot, how to conduct a reading session, reading through the illustrations, integrating the spread, symbolic and practical aspects of the suits, philosophical considerations, mythological and sacred art sources, suggested meanings for all the 78 cards.

The book is accompanied by CBD Tarot de Marseille, a restoration of the most acclaimed and influential deck originally published in the 18th Century.

Useful for beginners, and for advanced readers wishing to enhance their work with the traditional Tarot.

Additional materials, print editions of the book and the CBD cards, downloadable full-color cards illustrations and more at the CBD Tarot website.

This author is arguably the best in the new wave of interpretative tarologists. With a global pictoric and pattern-driven interpretation of the spreads with feedback between tarologist and consultant Tarot sessions get closer to psicanalitic therapies and the cards' role are akin to a Roscharch (ink blot) test. This was the way so-called "fortune-telling" was used long ago (even today in China): ritualistic pattern recognizing in order to get precious insight into problem resolving.. There is no such thing as "future prediction" only the Present exists in perpetual motion. The Future is only an ever-changing possibility and can often be changed by the consultant following his needs and aspirationsBesides self-editing this nice book the author also produced an excellent modern unpretentious rendering of the classic Conver Tarot deck indispensable in every Tarot deck collection.Highly recommended.
