Chapter ONE

This introduction by Lloyd Pye and me provides an overview to the general concepts covered in this book. As most of you know, Lloyd passed in late Dec. of 2013 when only rough first drafts of about a third of the chapters were started. I almost did not continue the research and writing because I thought I was not good enough as a writer to finish what Lloyd had started. Except for the steady support of my wife, Pat, I would not have continued. She helped me through that rough time, and others, quietly urging me with loving smiles and kind words to continue the work. Thanks largely to her support, here it is.

So with humble gratitude, and thirty-five years of love and affection, this book is dedicated to my wife, Pat Jensen, our 5 children, 11 grandchildren and our 4 great-grandchildren. It is also dedicated ‘in memorial’ specifically to Logan Spencer Jones, our beloved late grandson, who passed away on June 8, 2015

Introduction by Lloyd Pye

This eBook is a result of four years of research by John Jensen. I have followed his research for those four years as an energetic cheerleader for him and his cause. From the first time he revealed his work to me, I have believed it would transform the fabric of history on Earth, as it is understood in this era. Therefore, for the past four years I have promised that when he is ready, I would help him present his story in its fullest form.

My participation is due to my 40 years of professional writing, during which I gained a reputation for making complex scientific subjects easily understood by the widest possible range of readers. Despite being truly revolutionary, this research should be easy to grasp.

John and I are convinced the material presented in these pages will initiate a heated debate about what he proposes, and from that crucible will emerge a tempered theory of human history that will bear literally no resemblance to the history of the world that is believed and taught in nearly all countries. Both of us are well aware that in the past 100 years many hundreds, or even thousands, of others have made similar grandiose-sounding boasts. Claiming to change the course of human history has become a rallying cry for all kinds of utter nonsense, so we are presenting his research with considerable trepidation about being tarred with that same nonsense brush. Despite the risk of sounding dubious, we have to be honest about what we feel is presented here.

Even if John’s discoveries were considerably less important, they would still warrant serious consideration by a wide range of specialists in Earth science, such as geologists, anthropologists, and marine biologists.

This is either what we believe it is—a turning point in human history—or a futile expense of four years of diligent research by John and sincere support by me. We have shoved our chips onto the table. Let ‘em roll!

In 1513, Niccolo Machiavelli offered one of history’s most trenchant observations about human nature. It bears repeating and keeping firmly in mind as we proceed forward with the contents of this eBook:

There is nothing more difficult to plan, more doubtful of success, nor more dangerous to manage than the creation of a new system. For the initiator has the enmity of all who would profit by the preservation of the old system, and merely lukewarm defenders in those who would gain by a new one.

John Jensen is presenting one of Machiavelli’s new systems in the form of a unique, original view of the history of humans on Earth. It is a very large bite for anyone, including Machiavelli himself if somehow he were able to consider it and evaluate it.

The bulk of evidence presented here is visual. I grew up with the truism that photographs don’t lie. Today Photoshop has turned that old saw on its head. Now photos can lie in a fantastic array of ways, so we are forced to present totally objective shots, ones we can be sure were not, and are not, subject to the vagaries of Photoshop and/or other ingenious manipulations.

Many photos found in this eBook come from Google Earth. Others come from satellite reconnaissance photos.

Still others are straightforward aerial photos from aircraft. We have done our best to make everything presented here as legitimate and referenced as we could make it. We are fully aware we have only one chance to make a first impression with everyone, so we have worked hard to make sure this introduction to John Jensen’s theories and projections is successful.

Next, it is important to understand that the Earth Epochs series of eBooks is merely an opening wedge in a much wider and deeper campaign to generate a wholesale examination of the theory it presents.

A very high level of civilization existed on Earth in the not-too-distant past, which mainstream experts are unwilling to consider. That not-too-distant past" was 7,000 years ago (years before present, or YBP)

One of our primary goals is to generate interest in spreading John’s ideas all around the world, in any place where additional evidence can be secured. We hope to create a literal army of John Jensen clones by establishing the Earth Epochs Foundation, which we intend to shape into the main repository for additional information. When anyone finds anything significant in their country, our Foundation will be ready to receive their reports and data, and we will incorporate it into what we believe will become an ever-expanding body of valid proofs that John’s initial theory was correct.

Everyone has heard the famous aphorism, which states: Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. Popularized by Carl Sagan, who purloined it from Marcello Truzzi, the skeptic’s skeptic credited with creating it to function as a bulletproof shield against unacceptable theories by alternative thinkers that mainstream science could not easily dismiss or digest. That aphorism has become the mainstream’s go to answer when anything new and threatening appears on a horizon they do not want to explore or recognize.

Raising the bar of acceptance is so much easier than dealing with a radically new idea that provides strong indications it could overturn an established paradigm.

This eBook will present several extraordinary claims, all of which will directly threaten to overturn a number of well-established scientific paradigms. As you read along, you will see that for yourself, when we present what we feel are the required extraordinary proofs of the definitely extraordinary claims we will be making.

Obviously, we cannot be the final arbiters of what we present. Only you readers, along with the inevitable mainstream skeptics and trolls, will establish our place in the grand scheme of scientific speculations jostling for position in the marketplace of ideas to determine human reality at any given moment in time.

Let us get started with first things first, which are a few examples of new terminology you need to learn. They relate to how the rising of worldwide sea levels can be used as a surprisingly accurate clock to reveal when certain catastrophic events occurred on Earth. Within 50,000 years, Carbon 14 dating is a reliable technique for determining the age of anything with carbon in it, i.e. anything that was once alive. It does not work on stones, which are never alive. However, the rise of sea levels is also reliable for dating, and it can go well beyond C-14’s upper limit of 50,000 YBP.

What you will now experience is John Jensen’s version of a new reality we believe is based on verifiable facts.

Lloyd Pye had agreed to co-author this and the following three books in the Earth Epoch series. His untimely passing in Dec. 2013 left only the Introduction and Ocean Rise chapters complete. I have continued with the writing, though it is less dynamic, articulate, and cohesive than Lloyd’s writing skills. Though we disagreed on some points, he was the best collaborator any person could have. A good friend. RIP Lloyd.

I just want you to have as clear as possible picture of what I am trying to accomplish in the book. First, it is important to make two points that the entire collection of my works rests on. One, I have no formal education past the 8th grade, although I have attended and audited some degree level classes in a couple of Universities. Most of my education is self-taught, and with the availability of the open internet over the last 20 years, I am about as well read as could be expected for a novice.

Secondly, I make absolutely no claim to attack nor defend, support or debunk either side of the Evolution-Young Earth Creation argument. I do not advocate for any 'agenda’, whether that agenda is academic, religious or scientific. To ensure there is no miscommunication about my personal perspective; I am an avowed ‘Short Period Catastrophist’, expecting to prove via catastrophic ocean rise, the geologic column, deep core drills, ice core samples, varve layers and other readings, that the Earth experiences major and cataclysmic catastrophes including dipole exchange on an irregular short term basis. The geologic column shows the average static or calm periods that are between catastrophes to average about 7,000 years. Many periods are much shorter, some are longer, and a very few are quite long.

With the discoveries of the sunken offshore Florida Harbors, I knew without any doubt that I could and would prove a civilization in North America just prior to 7000 years ago, and with that proof, I would have the foundation for proving the last great cataclysm of 7000 YBP. (Years before Present)

The last piece is proving how and why cataclysms return on such a frequent, though not precise schedule.

The many core drills taken by geologists, hunting for natural resources, prove the above statement. The deepest core drills taken in general terms are about 50,000 feet into the earth’s mantle.

Those core drills collectively show strata that changes from limestone (ocean floor) to sandstone (land erosion buildup) to shale (Shallow sea), and hard rock (granites, etc.) then back again. Most levels are between 2' and 14' thick, or roughly 1,000 to 7,000 years in age duration. Proof of strata change on a repeating short cycle basis is called the 'geologic column' and it is as fascinating as any information I have ever looked at, because it demonstrates, without question, how dynamic, volcanic, and catastrophic our planet is. The reason we know for certain that super mega cataclysms accompany every change, is that each stratum of the geologic column mostly does not have a transition layer, but changes from an ocean bed (limestone) to some other non-ocean surface, then back to limestone then back to something else on a clean non-transition basis. In addition, magnetic polarity in rocks and geological strata demonstrates pole shifts have caused the poles to be located at many different places on the surface of the Earth at different times.

The earth's surface as a whole is very dynamic, and most of the visible changes that we see are much more recent than most anyone understands. This is the period ranging from the last 150,000 to possibly 180,000 years ago, and even that period is problematical.

Other changes that reach back into the mists of the far distant past are buried deep in the geologic column, certainly much deeper than the few feet covering many fossilized and non-fossilized dinosaur bones.

The Andes and Rockies are NOT old, not even like a little bit, as structures like Puma Punku so readily show. The last three levels of civilization are readily apparent to anyone who can read the base blocks, intermediate and top stones of the South American Andes ancient ruins. The same is true about every set of megaliths in the world from Baalbek, to Jerusalem, to the Giza Plateau to South America.

The bottom stones are the best cut and dressed and the largest. The second layer of stones are smaller and less well cut and dressed, and the top layer is generally rough stone to fieldstone in structure and design.

I have hard evidence that shows the Giza Plateau has been inundated (underwater) at least twice, if not more, since the Plateau and the Great Pyramid were built. I am not a pyramid expert, but I am a very good analytic oceanographers, (more accurately a seaman-commercial fisherman) and when I see moving salt water effects in any beach or land environment, I can basically identify that as a once ocean based location.

A big piece of the evidence structure is the Valley of the Whales, about 82 miles from the Giza Plateau, as well as the 'Tufoni' pitting of limestone blocks on the Giza Plateau. Tufoni pitting is a result of seawater tidal action on limestone.

There is also recorded documentation of the Caliph of Cairo's lead engineer when dismantling the limestone casing of the Great Pyramid in the 13th century, made a record of a salt encrustation layer (tidal shoulder) at about 254' height around the exterior.

When first entered in modern times, the Queens chamber had a 'very thick' salt encrustation line inside the chamber, showing without doubt, that the pyramid had been inundated to that level for some extended period. (Many thousands of years) That salt line, though well documented, has been cleaned out to a great degree, because I suspect it is an embarrassment to Egyptology.

I will be able to prove in this book that many mid-sized dinosaurs lived up into the mid Holocene about 7000 years ago, while small pockets of declining size species survived well up into the modern age. I will present a book full of images, pictographs, pottery, carvings, etc. I will also present articles on recent DNA tests on soft tissue and hemoglobin elements from more than 60 non-fossilized dinosaur bones, some still frozen in place in the great permafrost deepfreeze of the Northern Arctic Polar Regions.

I will prove that hominids of great stature (over 15' tall) lived well into the Holocene start, and some mid-sized giants (about 12-18’ lived well into the mid Holocene, while smaller giants up to about 10’ lived up into relatively modern time. There were greater sized hominids (some may have been up to 36’ tall) and some extraordinary large dinosaurs in some previous Epoch when ambient so-called ‘gravity’ was much less dense than it currently is. Supporting that fact, I will prove that Gravity, as a fixed law does not exist, and what we perceive, as the ‘G’ force is actually the ‘charge density’ of an Electrostatic Field Force. Such proofs are defined specifically for Earth’s biosphere, and I do not intend to extend the idea into Galactic or Universal application. That study is for others to discuss who are more qualified in Sub Quantum Kinetics than I am. I will show that during the third Ice Melt Pulse, (Ocean Rise) the ambient temperature rose to a level that was at the limits of sustaining human and domestic animal life, and as a result, populations went underground to survive the incredible heat index.

Chapter TWO

Sea Level Rise

This chapter makes the case for the three periods of Ocean Rise across the Holocene, generally referred to as the first, second and third Ice Melt Pulses. The most significant evidence shows extremely rapid changes counted in days, weeks, or months between periods of very fast ocean rise to near normal condition.

Before meeting John Jensen, I believed what most people do—that since the last Ice Age, which ended around 12,000 years ago, the world’s seas and oceans have risen steadily to their present levels slightly over 80 meters higher (about 265 feet) during the 12,000 years since. This widely accepted belief is one of many we cling to that are, in fact, egregiously wrong.

The chart above is what actually happened during the past 12,000 years. The data represented was collected from ten places scattered around the globe and listed on the chart with associated colors. They show sea-level rise worldwide, with variations in the Western Atlantic and South Pacific areas being most notable.

The X-axis (bottom) covers 24,000 years ago to now. The Y-axis (right) charts the rise in sea level from 140 meters (460 feet) below the current level to now. The irregular graph line illustrates the rise in all sea levels around the world as revealed by a series of shorelines that scoured themselves into the rocks that were the boundaries of the seas during the past 20,000 years.

Notice a bit more than half of the total increase (56%) occurred during the 5,000 years after the last Ice Age started to end at 11,200 YBP, when seas rose from 80 meters (265 feet) to less than 2 meters (5 to 6 feet) at 7,000 YBP. This chart makes it strikingly clear that an astounding event transformed Earth at 7,000 YBP.

Whatever it was, it suddenly flattened out the steady rise between 11,200 and 7,000 YBP. Since 7,000 YBP, seas worldwide have raised an average of only about 5 feet! Thus, we find ourselves confronted by a profound mystery with implications that reverberate throughout history: Exactly what happened at 7,000 years ago to so dramatically change Earth’s physical processes?

Here is a term to learn: Holocene. It is the formal name for the period since the end of the last Ice Age, from 15,000 YB until now. The following illustration is a Holocene Sea Level chart plotting sea levels over the past 9,000 years. Instead of 10 plot lines, this one has eight.

For now, we will pay closest attention to the Jamaican or Caribbean Plain plot line, shown in light turquoise, because it is closest to the U.S.’s Atlantic coastline and the Gulf of Mexico, where much of our interest will focus through the course of this book. The black line is a mean average of the eight areas plotted.

It is very important to understand the terms listed in the A. B. C. of the chart’s subheading, so let us spend a few moments going over them. Notice that point C is plotted up on the chart directly above 7,000 years ago.

Notice point B rests above 5,800 years ago. In addition, A rests above 5,000 years ago. Note, too, that worldwide oceans and seas have raised a total of only 5 feet since 7,000 years ago! Keep this fact in mind, it will be mentioned repeatedly because it is so crucial to many later proposals. Make a special note of C’s name: Tertiary Tidal Shoulder.

Tertiary means third. In education, it means the third level of achievement. Primary is grade school, secondary is high school, and tertiary is college. So remember that tertiary means third, or in the way we will use it, oldest. The tertiary tidal shoulder is the oldest of the three we will focus on, and it was scoured into the rocks of its boundaries 7,000 YBP.

Next, of course, is the Secondary Tidal Shoulder, which follows the tertiary shoulder at 5,800 years ago. During those 1,200 years (7,000–5,800=1,200), the world’s sea levels rose two more feet, from 5’ to 3’. (That sounds backward, I realize, but think of it as starting with 0 as the current worldwide sea level, and go deeper and deeper as we move back in time.)

The third sea level of importance is the Current Tidal Shoulder established 5,000 YBP after rising another 2’ during those 800 years (5,800-5,000=800). Thus, in 800 years the world’s seas rose from three feet below the current sea level to only one foot depth. Here is the key point to keep in mind in this regard: The world’s sea levels have risen only about one foot during the past 5,000 years!

When ocean levels are stable for a length of time, the rise, and fall of tides develops a tidal plain. These can vary in perceptibility from very clear to much less so. Depth between them provides a reliable estimate of tidal plain life cycles, or lengths of time between the upper and lower margins of adjacent tidal shoulders.

The Jamaica plot’s tertiary (oldest) tidal shoulder (C) established after the early Holocene’s sea level rose 195' feet—from 11,200 to 7,000 YBP. Then, at 7,000 YBP, the rise inexplicably leveled off to create the Tertiary Tidal Plain, which, again, was created by the wave motion of tidal surges back and forth for the 1,200 years it was in stasis (7,000 to 5,800 YBP).

The secondary tidal shoulder ('B') averages about 2 feet in depth. It came with a second, less distinctive leveling off of sea level rise at about 5,800 YBP. The Secondary Tidal Plain covers a period of about 800 years, and levels off to the Primary Tidal Plain (‘a'), which established the current water table 5,000 YBP.

The following chart clarifies the terminology difference between a tidal shoulder, a tidal plain, and a water table.

As mentioned above, the difference in depth between two water tables defines the life cycle of that tidal plain (D). Any non-natural artifacts or constructions, which can be confirmed as belonging to a tidal plain, are dated to no earlier than the oldest tidal shoulder. If that sounds a bit confusing, please bear with a bit more terminology: an artifact is something made by human hands. A relic is generally natural.

These are often confused, but in the course of this eBook, we will discuss a wide range of ancient artifacts, most of them underwater, so it is useful to know that distinction.

Any artifact established and confirmed as being under the current water table will rest on one tidal plain or another, and the tidal shoulders it rests between will define that. We will deal mostly
