    I write poetry zines and ebooks and am currently working on updating them all into Smashwords. If you are not familiar with a ZINE it is a book produced from a photo copier or a printer. I have just come back from my first zinefest in NYC held at Barnard College. I also write fiction and my first book is called SLANTBOARD which takes place in the future where people can ride on boards that float a little off the ground nor do they go much over 10 miles and hour so they have a similar culture to long-distance bike riding.       we have survived eating and drinking

      different food and drinks and our

      thinking is what got us here to

      this day and it is okay to eat a

      broad range of things instead

      of limiting ourselves to nothing

      which will get us to nowhere

      FAST we have to make our peace

      with food and drink and in the

      past it has been WAR we were

      forced to eat things or drink

      things we DID NOT WANT to

      eat or drink but we survived

      to live another day and life

      is that in a nutshell take it

      or leave it it may be we grew

      up to be a nut and that affected

      our eating and drinking we have

      to work on that then and avoid

      only those things that will truly

      K I L L U S

      A D D I C T I O N F I C T I O N

      how dare they play the addict card with

      their pack of lies and eyes into our stuff

      that we cannot get enough of drink of

      man of woman of child or else we are

      stuck with a full hand of bland cards

      and not suits or pairs of strength all

      lies those cards of circumspect of

      suspicion of fiction we are not addicts

      who leave the lights on out of fear

      or the sink running because we

      are running full steam and we

      can't see through the haze

      how dare they play those cards

      of denial on us by laying down the

      truth shoved in our face how

      can we go forward
