I received this book through the Early Reviewers program on Library Thing. I was impressed with how quickly the book arrived. In fact, it arrived so quickly that when the package arrived, I initially thought it was the book I had "won" from the previous month's giveaway. This book is not the sort of book I would sit down and read from cover to cover because, frankly, I am bored by money and wish that I didn't have to ever deal with it in my life. However, even money-phobic people like me have to deal with things like debt, credit cards, and mortgages - and, if your income has decreased recently, then you may very well find yourself in "money trouble."When you do find yourself in "money trouble," this is the book you want to have available. It is written clearly and in simple enough terms that even people like me can understand complicated concepts and implement the best strategy and actions to deal with money problems or potential problems. The book includes sections on debts, loans, student loans, finding money to pay your debts, being sued, managing credit cards, reducing mortgage payments and dealing with foreclosure, and more. This book deals with all of these in plain English that even people who may consider themselves stupid when it comes to handling money can understand. I anticipate that I will use the book whenever I have some sort of money problem.
