What is Photoshop?

Developed and distributed by Adobe Systems, Photoshop was created in 1988 by Thomas and John Knoll and it has since then stamped its authority as the leading raster graphics editor in the world. Photoshop has caught the eye of every photographer in the world mainly because of its power to improve, highlight and add visual crispiness to any image.

Why should I use Photoshop?

I am a photographer and I trust my abilities to take the perfect shot of any person, event or natural scenery. Why should I rely on computer software to showcase my talent? It is not a big surprise if many of us think this way. In fact, being photographers, the first lesson that we ever learned was to make it as original as possible. Then, why are we even discussing Photoshop?
