When innovative new products or services are introduced to the consumer, more often than not it is the innovation itself that receives the most attention, whether it be by media induced propaganda or simple word of mouth. While innovation is indeed important in any industry, it is a proven reality that imitation plays a vital role in industry as well, and is often more important and effective than innovation alone.  In reality, companies which have centered their focus on imitation while implementing innovative new ideas simultaneously have proven to be exceptionally effective in the design and manufacture of products or services. Here we will discuss taking existing products which have already set a proven track record in their area, and expanding on them through the use of innovative new ideas, thereby not only improving the product, but making it more effective than ever in regard to its intended purpose.
