Man Demotes, God Promotes - Tarupiwa Muzah

    INTRODUCTION

Have you ever faced situations in which you feel like men has let you down? Do you feel like you are rejected all the time, you are the last one picked or you see people handing you a cold shoulder? Maybe your ideas have been ridiculed and you feel lonely. If you are one of the above, you are the best candidate for god to come and promote you.

Being rejected does not mean you are a reject, being ignored does not mean you are nothing. God has a destiny for you, be happy. In this book you are going to learn from the biblical characters that faced the same situations. You will learn how to react when faced with demotion, abuse, and rejection. For sure man demotes but afterwards, god then promotes you to your destiny.

    CHAPTER 1

    MODECAI

Men are always in the habit of demoting, demoting and demoting, and God promotes, promotes and promotes. We don’t have to seek the glory from man.

John 5 verse 41-Jesus said, I do not receive glory from men. He knew that men were there to demote him, but only God was going to promote him to his destiny. The bible also says in verse 44 of the same chapter, How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and do not seek the glory from the only God.

THIS MEANS MEN WILL TURN YOU DOWN IF YOU PUT YOUR TRUST IN THEM.

To have faith means you must seek God in prayer for him to be pleased with you, and he will promote you to your destiny. That's the way you receive glory from the only God.

When we look now to the story of Modecai, we see that man demoted him, but only God promoted him to his destiny. We can see that Modecai knew what to do. He had to seek the glory from God only, not men for him to enter his destiny. You have to trust God, be in fellowship with him, drawing close to him, because he promotes.

    Hebrews 11 verse 6,

And without faith, it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

It pleases God to see his children drawing close to him when they need guidance to enter their God-given destinies.

In the story of Modecai, we can see in Esther 2 verses 21-22, that Modecai was sitting at the King’s gate, then Bigthan and Teresh, two of the King’s eunuchs, became angry and sought to lay hands on King Ahasuerus. This came to the knowledge of Modecai, and he told it to Queen Esther, and Esther told the King in the name of Modecai. The two were then hanged and it was recorded in the book of the Chronicles. After this
