About this series

Every time we pick up a golf magazine we read about increasing power through speeding up the clubhead. However, whenever we try and directly speed the clubhead up, we actually lose power because we become disconnected from our body’s central core, which is the source of our power. We will address these issues and fixes in this book.

We all know what it is like to hit a good shot followed by a terrible shot leaving us bewildered and/or frustrated. We know we can hit the shot we have chosen so what happened? How can we fix these mistakes? This book explains what happens inside your head and introduces you to strategies to overcome the deadly "sergeant major mindset" so that you can harness your mind constructively throughout your round of golf. Learn how to work on a few simple exercises at home and the driving range and on the course and take control of your game. Review: "This is an important book. In contrast to the great majority of golf coaching books - which work against us - this one actually helps us. It does this by showing us how to utilise the body's most powerful learning weapon - our brains. This approach to the golf swing is scientifically proven as the most effective approach, and it's also the simplest! The golf swing doesn't need to be so technical, so confusing, so complex, and so difficult. Hammering a nail (a similar skill) isn't... Peter Lightbown explains the psychology of controlling a golf swing in a simple and enjoyable manner. An excellent book." Professor Chris Riddoch (sports scientist)
